December 28, 2021 by Mark Allinson

There are many things going on in the world today, for example, wars, pandemics, social tensions, and protests. With all of this, it is more important than ever to stay in touch and keep others informed about the latest developments.

This state of affairs has prompted many developers and scientists to pay closer attention to the modern means of communication available to almost everyone – smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets.

The signal coverage area of cellular networks in all developed countries is approaching 100 percent. If you add up the first part of the paragraph and the second, we can conclude that the article is about emergency communication app and the ways to use it. Amazon looks to accelerate emergence of innovative robotics startups

December 14, 2021 by David Edwards

By Grace Reed, product marketing manager for AWS RoboMaker, and Pulkit Kapur, business development manager for robotics and autonomous systems at AWS

Helping startups succeed, from inception to IPO, has been an integral part of Amazon Web Services since its beginning. Today, more startups build on AWS than any other cloud provider, and many of its customers started using AWS at an early stage to help scale their business and drive innovation.

For example, Lunar Outpost, a pioneer in lunar surface robotics, uses AWS RoboMaker to test and validate robotics software in a simulated lunar environment, enabling them to speed up robot delivery and reduce software bugs in deployment.

In this blog post, we discuss how AWS Robotics is helping robotics startups use cloud technology to establish a scalable infrastructure for building, testing, and managing robots. [Read more…] about Amazon looks to accelerate emergence of innovative robotics startups

RoboDK releases intuitive palletizing plugin for any robot brand

December 8, 2021 by Mark Allinson

Robot software company RoboDK has released a new palletizing plugin for intuitive programming of palletizing applications, compatible with almost any robot brand. It accelerates this normally tedious programming task and improves deployment efficiency.

Palletizing is an increasingly common application for robotic automation. For human workers, lifting containers onto pallets is dull and increases the risk of musculoskeletal injuries due to its repetitive nature.

Robots have long provided an alternative to manual palletizing. However, programming the task has traditionally been tedious. [Read more…] about RoboDK releases intuitive palletizing plugin for any robot brand
