How Dual Screen Monitors Can Help Astrophysicists

May 17, 2023 by David Edwards

Astrophysics is a complex profession and requires a lot of research and analysis. An astrophysicist deeply analyzes astronomical observations. They spend a lot of their time using research tools. They gather different information related to planets and astronomical creatures.

A typical day of an astrophysicist is completely occupied with loads of work and research. However, a single screen is surely consuming a lot of their time. For this reason, Geminos dual monitor with stand can solve many of their problems.

These dual screens will help the astrophysicist in many ways. This article will summarize all the information related to dual-screen monitors. Additionally, it will also justify how these multiple monitors are helping astrophysicists. Read this article to learn about it. [Read more…] about How Dual Screen Monitors Can Help Astrophysicists

Modern cybersecurity solutions: SIEM or MSSP?

May 1, 2023 by Mark Allinson

What does SIEM mean?

SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) – the definition is that it is a software system that allows you to detect threats and respond to security incidents. It monitors data about security events in real time and provides a historical analysis from a wide range of sources that record events and contextual data.

More advanced SIEM systems and managed SIEM providers are able to combine events from different components of the IT system together to create a new higher-level event.

The main problem for security engineers is that there is too much data to be able to get even a rough overview. That’s why we need automation to distinguish those events that pose a threat or are otherwise interesting to our business from the multitude of events. Startup uWare Robotics develops ‘first’ complete system to map and monitor coastal ecosystems

July 26, 2022 by Mark Allinson

A Belgian-Spanish startup called uWare Robotics says it has developed the “first end-to-end technology to map and monitor coastal ecosystems”.

uWare says its system consists of a number of proprietary hardware and software technologies, including an autonomous underwater vehicle, called the uOne.

Designed for maximum mobility, stability, cost-effectiveness, and autonomy, the uOne allows for data collection at “five times the speed of a diver” and with the precision of a robot, claims uWare. Digital Workplace Reprioritizes ‘Work Smarter, Not Harder’ Mentality: The Telecommuting Technologies You Need to Adopt

March 9, 2022 by David Edwards

Companies of all sizes and types have embraced remote work at a pace and frequency never seen before. Shifting from a traditional to a digital workspace provides numerous benefits, such as reduced overhead and increased employee flexibility.

To ensure telecommuting success, companies must utilize the following technologies. Without this telecommuting tech in hand, organizing daily workflows, connecting with customers and employees, and providing other vital services will prove challenging – if not impossible. Want to know how safe your warehouse job is? There’s an app for that

August 20, 2019 by David Edwards

In 2017 there were nearly 350,000 incidents of workers taking sick leave due to injuries affecting muscles, nerves, ligaments or tendons – like carpal tunnel syndrome – according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Among the workers with the highest number of incidents: people who work in factories and warehouses.

Musculoskeletal disorders happen at work when people use awkward postures or perform repeated tasks. These behaviors generate strain on the body over time. So it’s important to point out and minimize risky behaviors to keep workers healthy on the job. [Read more…] about Want to know how safe your warehouse job is? There’s an app for that
