Kawasaki signs up AV Birch Automation to its integrator program

Robotics giant Kawasaki has signed up AV Birch Automation to its exclusive integration program as a preferred specialist.

The partnership, announced on August 12th, means that AV Birch Automation have access to the expertise, training and software tools of the Japanese manufacturer.

The comprehensive range of robots and machine loaders manufactured by Kawasaki already feature in some of AV Birch Automation client facilities and the new relationship creates an even tighter bond between end user and manufacturer. Fanuc showcases new collaborative robot at Automatica

Fanuc, the robot manufacturer with the largest number of robots installed around the world, is showcasing is new collaborative robot at the Automatica event. 

The Fanuc CR-7iA was announced as a prototype some months ago, and this is one of the few times it has been shown to the public.

Fanuc says mechanics correspond to that of the company’s LR Mate-series (LR Mate 200iD), and it has a payload of 7 kg. Moreover, as in the case of the company’s first collaborative robot model – the CR-35iA, a mass-produced model serves as CR-7iA’s base.

Yaskawa launches new collaborative industrial robots at Automatica

Yaskawa has launched a new collaborative industrial robot range at Automatica, along with a number of other innovations, including a new compact controller. 

The hotly anticipated collaborative Motoman HC10 is consistent with the plan to position Yaskawa as one of the world’s leading robot manufacturers in the area of human-robot collaboration.
