Geek+ creates 20 jobs through establishment of headquarters in UK

Geek+, one of the world’s largest suppliers of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) technology, has revealed how opening its new UK headquarters in the Violet development at Sci-Tech Daresbury in 2022 has enabled its rapid expansion in the UK and across Europe and helped create a raft of high-quality tech jobs in the Liverpool City Region.

The strategically located headquarters is a hub for innovation, featuring a state-of-the-art robotics experience centre where clients can see Geek+ robots in action and explore cutting-edge solutions for automating logistics and warehouse operations.

THG Fulfil installs Geek+ robots to ‘boost warehouse efficiency’

THG Fulfil, THG Ingenuity’s fulfilment and courier management service, has enhanced its warehouse automation capabilities with the addition of a fleet of Geek+ Goods-To-Person robots at its Omega facility in Warrington.

The addition of Geek+ to its repertoire will enable THG Fulfil to improve warehouse performance, enabling faster delivery times and higher customer retention as artificial intelligence (AI) and automation technologies drive significant advancements in warehouse efficiency.

Osaro and Geek+ partner to integrate robotic warehouse solutions

Osaro, a specialist in in machine-learning-enabled robotics for e-commerce, has agreed partnership that integrates its pick-and-place robots with groundbreaking Geek+ warehouse automation systems.

The new alliance offers businesses a one-stop solution for their warehouse fulfillment operations and a strategy to boost the ROI of their autonomous mobile robot systems (AMRs) and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS).

Radial opens second fulfillment center in Indianapolis with 200 Geek+ robots to automate site

Radial, a Belgian Post group company, a provider of e-commerce solutions, has agreed a partnership with Geek+, a provider of robotic solutions for logistics, to provide automation and robotics for its new 601,045 square-foot fulfillment center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The new state-of-the-art facility, located at 8838 East County Road, will enable Radial to support high-volume order fulfillment for a well-known clothing and apparel brand.

Geek+ launches RoboShuttle Plus to compete with AutoStore

Geek+, a provider of mobile logistics robots, has released its latest solution, RoboShuttle Plus, which looks similar to, and may compete with, the AutoStore system. 

Geek+ says its new RoboShuttle Plus system achieves one-stop storage and picking of all types of goods and delivers higher throughput and flexibility, adding that “this marks a significant advance in the interoperability of Geek+’s various robot models and a stride towards full warehouse automation”.

The upgraded solution fills the market gap for an all-in-one picking solution by coordinating of three types of robots around one centralized workstation: RoboShuttles handle vertical storage and retrieval of totes, P40 picking robots move smaller items, and P500 and P800 robots move medium to large items. Geek+ has provided 82 autonomous mobile robots for C-StoreMaster’s new $20 million distribution warehouse in Huntsville, Alabama, in the US.

Geek+ raises $100 million in latest financing round with strategic investment from Intel

Geek+, a maker of warehouse automation technologies, has closed a new, $100 million series E1 funding series, with the company valued at over $2 billion.

Investors in the round include Intel Capital, Vertex Growth, and Qingyue Capital Investment. The company will use this funding to accelerate its global market expansion and invest in its AMR technology research and development for key product innovation.

Geek+ automates German third-party logistics provider Bergler’s picking operations
