Modern cybersecurity solutions: SIEM or MSSP?

May 1, 2023 by Mark Allinson

What does SIEM mean?

SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) – the definition is that it is a software system that allows you to detect threats and respond to security incidents. It monitors data about security events in real time and provides a historical analysis from a wide range of sources that record events and contextual data.

More advanced SIEM systems and managed SIEM providers are able to combine events from different components of the IT system together to create a new higher-level event.

The main problem for security engineers is that there is too much data to be able to get even a rough overview. That’s why we need automation to distinguish those events that pose a threat or are otherwise interesting to our business from the multitude of events. The Kuka KR210 are fast, dynamic, and flexible to bring splendid effects to the stage and the event. Engineers can leverage the flexibility of robots to create fascinating static stage sets for performance. [Read more…] about Europalco buys two robots from Kuka to add ‘wow factor’ to shows

At the centre of events worldwide

April 4, 2018 by Abdul Montaqim

Hannover Messe

Since RoboticsAndAutomationNews.com was launched a couple of years ago, we’ve learned a lot.

One of the things we’ve learned is that there are many interesting trade shows around the world related to the industries we cover.

The technologies within robotics and automation are present in just about every industry and business sector on Earth, so our content could be highly diverse, but we tend to concentrate on manufacturing and logistics, although not exclusively – we do take a look at other areas part of the time.  [Read more…] about At the centre of events worldwide
