Locus Robotics and Radial surpass 25 million picks milestone

Locus Robotics, a provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for warehouse and fulfillment operations, has announced that its partnership with Radial, an e-commerce solutions developer, has surpassed 25 million units picked in Radial’s Shepherdsville warehouse.

This milestone highlights how Locus’s proven and advanced automation and Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) models are transforming fulfillment by delivering greater scalability, operational resilience, and consistent high-volume performance.

ODW Logistics expects to improve pick rates by 42 percent with Zebra Technologies

Zebra Technologies, a provider of warehouse automation technologies, says ODW Logistics has adopted Zebra Symmetry Fulfillment to optimize its e-commerce operations.

With this implementation, ODW Logistics anticipates realizing a 42 percent improvement in pick rates, enhancing its ability to scale while maintaining cost efficiency.

DHL to invest $744 million and install more than 1,000 extra robots to meet growing demand

DHL Supply Chain says it plans to invest €637 million ($744 million) to expand its infrastructure and accelerate the rollout of automation across its customer operations in UK and Ireland, to support growing demand in the e-commerce and life sciences health care sectors. 

The new investment builds on the €1 billion already spent on automation by DHL Supply Chain over the last three years, with more than 3,200 digitalisation projects deployed across the UK and Ireland and EMEA.

Until 2030, DHL’s contract logistics business plans to significantly increase its scale in UK&I as well as globally, with automation, robotics and digitalisation being a key enabler of this growth. Libiao Robotics opens overseas headquarters in Singapore

Libiao Robotics, a provider of automated warehouse storage systems and robotics, has opened a new office in Singapore. The Singapore facility will henceforth act as headquarters for its overseas (that is, non-China) business.

The new office is situated in Perennial Business City in Jurong Lake District, the largest commercial district outside of Singapore’s city centre and dubbed “Singapore’s next central business district”.
