Viral college startup Series appoints humanoid robot CMO as it takes over Harvard campus

The Unitree humanoid robot will lead all marketing activities for Series. In the past week at Harvard University it took over Harvard Square and paraded the stadium at the Harvard v Brown game

Series, a fast-growing social networking platform, has announced the appointment of Uri, a humanoid robot, as its chief marketing officer (CMO). It has already dominated its first campaign at Harvard University generating 1 million views on social media in just 24 hours.

Uri kicked off the Series’ College tour by drawing large crowds towards the Series Composite of Harvard students at Harvard Square, immediately prompting students and tourists to take photos of the 8 feet by 12 feet banner.

He then handed matcha to energize and connect with students before parading the stadium stands during the Harvard versus Brown game, where roaring crowds signaled the campus-wide excitement surrounding this innovative launch. Evocargo launches UAE’s first commercial unmanned cargo transportation

The United Arab Emirates has taken what is described as “a historic step into the future of autonomous transportation” with the launch of the nation’s first commercial fleet of self-driving electric trucks in the Al Jazeera Al Hamra industrial zone, a cutting-edge hub for large-scale projects.

This milestone was realized through a partnership of Evocargo, a developer of autonomous transport and autopilot system, and RAK Ceramics, a multinational manufacturer of ceramics and sanitary ware.

Matternet pilots drone delivery in Los Angeles with Dave’s Hot Chicken

Matternet, the developer of the world’s leading urban drone delivery system, is partnering with Dave’s Hot Chicken to launch a drone delivery pilot, a first for the fast-casual leader.

The service will debut in Northridge, a Los Angeles suburb, where eligible residents will be able to order Dave’s Hot Chicken through the Dave’s app and receive it directly to their homes via Matternet’s autonomous M2 drones – arriving hot, fresh, and fast.

Unitree Robotics planning an IPO valuing it at $7 billion

Serve Robotics marks launch of its 1,000th autonomous delivery robot

Serve Robotics has deployed its 1,000th autonomous delivery robot, marking a significant milestone for the San Francisco-based company as it scales operations across the United States.

Continental launches new tires designed for autonomous vehicle fleets and robotaxis

Continental has introduced a new line of tires developed specifically for autonomous vehicle fleets, including robotaxis and shuttle services, with the first models set to be deployed in US cities such as Las Vegas and San Francisco.
