DHL deploys SVT Robotics platform to integrate warehouse robots up to ‘12 times faster’

March 17, 2026 by Sam Francis

DHL Supply Chain, one of the world’s leading contract logistics providers, announced the deployment of SVT Robotics’ SoftBot platform across its global warehouse network.

With more than 8,000 collaborative robots already active across its global operations, the new plug-and-play platform allows DHL to deploy robotics integrations up to 12 times faster than traditional custom coding setups, setting the stage for the logistics giant to fast-track future automation rollouts.

Prior to implementing the technology-neutral software, automation projects required separate custom coding for every new technology, taking up to six to eight weeks to initiate new solutions. This made enterprise-wide rollouts and upgrades slow and costly. [Read more…] about DHL deploys SVT Robotics platform to integrate warehouse robots up to ‘12 times faster’

NXP and Nvidia collaborate on edge computing platform for humanoid robots

March 17, 2026 by Sam Francis

NXP Semiconductors has announced innovative robotics solutions for reliable, secure, real-time data processing and transport and advanced networking, enabling sensor fusion, machine vision and precision motor control.

First in a series of NXP’s foundational robotics solutions, these ready-to-deploy solutions were developed in collaboration with Nvidia and implement Nvidia Holoscan Sensor Bridge with NXP’s highly integrated SoCs.

This reduces discrete components, significantly shrinking footprint, power and cost, while also simplifying the software complexity of robotic sensing and actuation, including humanoid form factors. [Read more…] about NXP and Nvidia collaborate on edge computing platform for humanoid robots

RoboForce raises $52 million to build physical AI robots for industrial work

March 17, 2026 by Sam Francis

RoboForce, a pioneer in what is being called “physical AI-powered robo-labor”, has secured a $52 million oversubscribed funding round, bringing the total raised to $67 million.

The round was led by YZi Labs (a $10 billion fund) with participation from Jerry Yang (co-founder and former CEO of Yahoo!), who join existing investors Myron Scholes (Nobel Laureate economist), Gary Rieschel (founding partner of Qiming Ventures), Carnegie Mellon University, and beyond.

The new capital will accelerate the company’s next-generation robot foundation model, scale general-purpose physical AI robots, and drive manufacturing readiness for commercial deployment. [Read more…] about RoboForce raises $52 million to build physical AI robots for industrial work

Universal Robots and Scale AI launch imitation learning system for training industrial robots

March 17, 2026 by Sam Francis

Universal Robots (UR) has unveiled the UR AI Trainer at GTC 2026 in Silicon Valley. Developed in collaboration with Scale AI, the AI Trainer marks a tectonic shift as robots move from pre-programmed applications to fully AI-driven tasks. These systems are powered by robust data generated in AI training cells where “robots imitate humans”.

“Our customers, ranging from large enterprises to AI research labs, are no longer just asking for AI features,” said Anders Beck, VP of AI robotics products at Universal Robots.

“They need a way to collect high-fidelity, synchronized robot and vision data to train AI models on the same robots they intend to deploy. Our AI Trainer is the industry’s first direct lab-to-factory solution for AI model training.”  [Read more…] about Universal Robots and Scale AI launch imitation learning system for training industrial robots

Why Customer Experience Teams Are Using AI and Residential Proxies for Market Research

March 16, 2026 by Sam Francis

Customer experience teams sit on ambitious goals – predict what users want, fix what frustrates them, and shape how they feel about a product.

Easy, right? Except not really. Because the moment teams try to understand how people behave outside their home market, everything gets complicated.

Geo-blocks. Limited visibility. Automated tools that get spotted and shut out.

Meanwhile, customers keep talking. They leave reviews, share opinions, rant on forums, praise on group chats. But unless your tools can see what those customers are actually saying – right there, in their own region and in their own words – you’re not hearing the full story. Swedish sports retailer Stadium partners with Exotec to deploy Skypod system in Norrköping warehouse

March 16, 2026 by Sam Francis

The retailer is Exotec’s first Swedish customer, and has invested approximately $32 million in a new automated centre to streamline logistics

Stadium Group, one of the Nordic region’s leading sports retail chains, has announced its investment in a new automated logistics centre in Norrköping, Sweden. The facility will be equipped with Exotec’s Skypod system and will be the company’s first wholly owned distribution hub.

The new facility marks a major milestone for Stadium. After decades of outsourced logistics, the company recognised the need for a more efficient supply of goods to stores, and greater control over its supply chain.

Exotec’s Skypod system will be at the heart of the new warehouse, hosting over 240 autonomous robots that move in three dimensions, horizontally and vertically up to a height of 12 metres. Nulogy launches ‘Manufacturing Operating System’

March 15, 2026 by Sam Francis

Nulogy, a provider of manufacturing operations software, has launched its “Manufacturing Operating System” (MOS): a purpose-built platform that brings production, quality, compliance, maintenance, and warehouse execution onto a shared data and workflow backbone – powered by real-time analytics and integration.

Manufacturers today face volatile demand, tight margins, rising compliance requirements, and ongoing labor constraints. Most already have software in place – enterprise systems, point solutions and homegrown tools – but those systems rarely operate as one, resulting in a disconnect that increases manual work, slows response times, and limits visibility.

With Nulogy MOS, manufacturers, contract packagers and 3PLs can unite and manage production, quality, compliance, and collaboration within one system for faster return on value, backed by decades of manufacturing expertise. [Read more…] about Nulogy launches ‘Manufacturing Operating System’
