How Modern Pickup Trucks Are Evolving with Smarter Performance Technology

April 15, 2026 by David Edwards

Pickup trucks are not just known for big engines, how much they can tow, or their tough build anymore. Now, many companies in the auto world are making trucks better by adding smart features. They are also changing how trucks are made so they work better and can do more.

The move shows that what drivers want is changing. People now look for trucks that can do many things, feel good to drive, have the latest features, and act in a smart way on the road.

If you want to know how to buy a new toyota tacoma in san antonio, you will see that modern trucks now give you more than just strength. They are made to last, and they come with systems built in to help you handle the truck better, use less fuel, and make it work for many kinds of roads. Uber, Pony.ai, and Verne partner to launch ‘Europe’s first commercial robotaxi service’

March 26, 2026 by Sam Francis

Verne, Pony AI, a large-scale developer of autonomous driving technology, and Uber Technologies have announced a strategic partnership to launch what the companies say is “the first commercial robotaxi service in Europe”, beginning in Zagreb soon, with initial deployment work already under way, including public-road validation.

The three companies plan to collaborate on the deployment of a commercial robotaxi service, combining Pony.ai’s autonomous driving system, Uber’s global mobility platform, and Verne’s service ecosystem and operational framework.

Under this model, Pony.ai will provide its autonomous driving solution; Verne will act as fleet owner and service operator; and Uber will integrate the service into its global ride-hailing network, complementing Verne’s own customer-facing platform. From demos to daily transport: How Las Vegas is turning autonomy into real urban infrastructure

February 9, 2026 by Sam Francis

While many cities are still piloting autonomous transport in tightly controlled environments, Las Vegas is moving more aggressively – positioning itself as one of the most visible real-world laboratories for next-generation mobility in the United States.

Across the Strip and beyond, robotaxis, remotely operated vehicles, automated shuttles, and tunnel-based transport systems are shifting autonomy from experimental deployments toward everyday infrastructure capable of moving residents, workers, and tourists.

Taken together, these initiatives suggest a coordinated – if not formally centralized – push toward embedding intelligent transport directly into the city’s operational fabric. If there is a central co-ordinating organization, it’s probably the Clark County Office of Community and Economic Development, Nevada, home of the Las Vegas Strip.
