Microtechnology exhibition EPHJ successfully holds 19th edition

Switzerland’s largest international trade show dedicated to high-precision technologies, EPHJ – which showcases microtechnology innovations in sectors such as watchmaking and medicine – has successfully held its 19th edition.

The organisers say this year’s event has shown “positive results”.

Groupe PSA restarts manufacturing at facilities in a ‘progressive’ way

Groupe PSA – which owns automotive brands such as Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall – says it is restarting manufacturing at facilities in a “progressive and secured” way.

The company says it has reinforced health measures, shared with the social partners, and deployed before any restart of activity with voluntary employees.

Parrot and Survae partner to develop drone imagery with interactive mapping

Parrot, a drone manufacturer, and Survae, a software platform for managing aerial and ground-based imagery, have agreed a partnership through Parrot’s SDK program to combine Parrot’s ANAFI and ANAFI Thermal hardware and Survae’s software for professional drone use.

Parrot’s ANAFI and ANAFI Thermal drones offer an ultra-compact tool for professionals, helping them gain new vantage points to make informed decisions using the drone’s aerial insights.

In addition to its built-in 4K HDR camera, ANAFI Thermal also integrates a FLIR thermal sensor – allowing working professionals to easily capture thermal and visual readings for faster response times, along with higher precision and efficiency. In 2019, we saw a 400 percent growth in digital transformation projects moving through the post-implementation stage, according to a recent study by Rockwell Automation.
