Jamco ‘improves efficiency and employee safety’ at distribution centers with DexoryView

Since announcing its expansion to the North American market in February 2024, Dexory, a data intelligence company, has seen significant growth in the market.

It has deployed its AI-powered robotics and analysis solution, DexoryView, for innovative customers across six states already. Its latest customer is Texas based Jamco Group, marking the first deployment of the technology in the “Lone Star State.”

RightHand Robotics partners with Staples to install robots in fulfillment centers

RightHand Robotics, a provider of autonomous AI robotic picking solutions for order fulfillment, has agreed a multi-year partnership with Staples, one of America’s best-known suppliers of workspace products and solutions.

The agreement allows Staples to deploy and install the company’s RightPick item-handling system to automate operations for higher service levels and Next-Day Delivery to over 98 percent of the US.

Epson opens robot training centers for customers and system integrators in the US

Magazino expands robot fleet to 57 in Zalando logistics centers

Magazino, a robotics manufacturer from Munich, Germany, is increasing its robot fleet in more Zalando logistics locations to a total of 57 Toru robots. This is the largest single order in the company’s history. 

At the same time, it underlines the importance of Toru as a fundamental building block of automated processes in modern e-commerce logistics.

United Natural Foods brings in robots from Symbotic to automate warehouse

United Natural Foods has entered into a commercial agreement to implement Symbotic’s AI-powered robotics and software automation in five of UNFI’s distribution centers over the next four years.

Under the agreement, UNFI also has an option to implement Symbotic’s warehouse automation systems in additional distribution centers.

Busy Beaver partners with Badger Technologies

Badger Technologies, a product division of Jabil and maker of a retail automation robot, says its multipurpose autonomous robots have been selected for some work by Busy Beaver Building Centers, operator of 25 full-line home improvement centers in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia.

Following a successful pilot launched earlier this year, Badger Technologies is deploying production robots starting at a new store in Delmont, Pennsylvania, where associates seamlessly manage more than 33,000 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) while embracing the latest in retail automation to improve operations and shopping experiences.

Methods Machine Tools releases its first end-to-end standard automation system for Nakamura turning centers

Methods Machine Tools, the foremost supplier of high-quality, high-precision CNC machine tools and automation in North America, has released the Turn-Assist 200i and 270i from RoboJob as its first, end-to-end standard automation system for Nakamura-Tome turning centers.

A semi-collaborative system engineered for lathe automation, Turn-Assist is designed to be implemented and run by operators of any skill level. With a simple tablet-style HMI and standard Ethernet IP interface, shops can successfully change over from one part to another within minutes.

Walmart and Symbotic expand partnership to implement automation system

Symbotic, an AI-powered supply chain technology company, and Walmart have expanded their commercial agreement to implement Symbotic’s robotics and software automation platform in all 42 of Walmart’s regional distribution centers over the coming years.

This is an expansion of Walmart’s prior commitment to deploy Symbotic Systems in 25 regional distribution centers.

The end-to-end software-enabled high-density robotics platform plays a strategic role in supporting the retailer’s goal of modernizing its vast supply chain network and allows Walmart to transform its regional distribution centers to provide faster responsiveness to store orders, increased inventory accuracy and higher capacity for receiving and shipping freight to stores.
