Heraeus and AI Silk unveil ultra-light metaverse glove

Heraeus Epurio, a specialist developer of conductive polymer materials, and AI Silk , a Japanese wearable-tech startup that has developed the proprietary and patented conductive fiber “Lead Skin”, have together unveiled the “Haptic Metaverse Glove”.

The “ultra-light” glove has no mechanical parts attached, that doubles as sensors and an AR/VR/XR controller.

Made from AI Silk’s proprietary conductive fiber, Lead Skin, Haptic Metaverse Glove powered by Lead Skin features built-in finger-bending sensors, as well as control buttons on the back of the wearer’s hand, all of which are also made of the same conductive fiber. TeamViewer and Hyundai partner to accelerate digital innovation in automotive smart factory

TeamViewer, a provider of remote connectivity and workplace digitalisation solutions, is partnering with mobility solutions provider Hyundai Motor to digitalise business operations and manufacturing processes for Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center in Singapore (HMGICS).

TeamViewer and Hyundai Motor Company will cooperate to maximise digitalisation benefits in HMGICS’ smart factory using TeamViewer’s Augmented Reality (AR) platform, which includes Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities.

The platform will support assembly, maintenance, quality management, logistics, client experience projects and workforce training. Epson unveils next generation of Moverio augmented reality smart glasses

Epson has unveiled the Moverio BT-40 and BT-40S, a new generation of its Moverio augmented reality (AR) smart glasses designed to deliver “a high-quality AR viewing experience with maximum comfort”, says the company.

Powered by Epson Si-OLED technology, the new Moverio solutions offer users a number of advances including a wider field of view (FOV), Full HD 1080p display resolution, high contrast, improved connectivity, and a more comfortable, adjustable and easy-to-wear design.
