Before the big freeze: Nordic Dino CEO offers tips on how to prepare for de-icing season by robo-washing aircraft

November 14, 2025 by David Edwards

While de-icing is essential for winter flight safety, there’s a preventive strategy that can reduce both its frequency and intensity: keeping aircraft exteriors clean.

Here, Veronika Andrianovaite, CEO of Nordic Dino, a provider of robotic cleaning services for aircraft, explains how regular aircraft washing creates surfaces that resist ice adhesion and require less aggressive de-icing procedures. When Differences Bring Us Closer: Lessons From Abroad

November 13, 2025 by David Edwards

Travel shows how different we can be. Language, traditions, food, views on life – everything differs. It seems these differences should separate people. But the opposite happens. It’s precisely the unlikeness to each other that makes meetings interesting, and relationships – deep.

Dubai gathers people from all over the world. Here it’s easy to meet someone who grew up in a completely different culture, thinks differently, lives by different rules.

Rent car in Dubai gives freedom to explore the city and meet people on your own terms – without dependence on excursion schedules or taxis. Want to feel like part of this world? Rent Cadillac Escalade Dubai and move around the city with comfort that emphasizes your status and taste. [Read more…] about When Differences Bring Us Closer: Lessons From Abroad

ABB launches refreshed vision for the all-electric mine

November 11, 2025 by David Edwards

ABB has unveiled its refreshed vision for the “all-electric mine”, with the second edition of its whitepaper titled, Building the all-electric mine: Starting small, thinking big.

Published four years after the launch of the first edition, ABB’s updated paper builds on the company’s decades-long legacy in industrial electrification.

Mining contributes up to 7 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions, however, statistics from ABB’s Mining’s Moment report released just a year ago in October 2024, revealed that 30 percent of industry leaders are behind on their 2030 decarbonization goals.
