Segway Navimow, a robotic lawn mower brand, has been recognised for its excellence in product design at the Red Dot Design Awards.
Navimow’s X4 and H2 models, have been recognised for their outstanding design. The recognition underscores Navimow’s continued commitment to cutting-edge innovation, premium design, and user-centric engineering in the smart gardening category.
With a nearly 70-year history, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the most prestigious design competitions worldwide.
Participants can submit entries in three disciplines: products, brands and communication projects, as well as prototypes and design concepts.
Each year, a jury convenes for each award category to individually assess the submissions and subsequently decide on the awarding of distinctions.
The awards build on Segway Navimow’s growing track record of international recognition. Just last year, the Segway Navimow X3 Series received the iF Design Award 2025, further cementing the brand’s reputation for excellence in design and innovation.
Together, these accolades highlight Navimow’s ongoing dedication to creating premium, intelligent products that redefine the future of lawn care.
The Navimow X4 Series is the brand’s first four-wheel-drive robotic mower, engineered with a robust all-wheel-drive system and dual steering motors. It is capable of tackling slopes of up to 84 percent, setting a new standard for performance in challenging terrains.
Its industry-first front-wheel eccentric rotation is empowered by Xero-Turn™ technology, ensuring smooth, precise turns without damaging lawns, while its ability to mow up to 2000 m² in just 8 hours establishes a new benchmark for efficiency.
Equipped with triple-frequency RTK and a Tri-camera system, the X4 delivers full signal coverage, enabling antenna-free deployment and automatic mapping.
Visually, it draws inspiration from high-performance automotive design, featuring a sleek matte-finished body, dynamic lines, and newly designed tire treads that enhance traction.
Featuring a distinctive front-facing multi-camera, it is capable of detecting objects across 360 degrees for enhanced safety and precision.
Alongside the X4, the Navimow H2 has also been recognised for its thoughtful evolution of first-generation robotic mowing technology. Designed for lawns ranging from 500 to 3,000 m², the H2 features an offset cutting disc that balances performance and accessibility.
It integrates the advanced EFLS LiDAR⁺ technology with LiDAR, Network RTK, and vision-based adaptive navigation to deliver precise positioning in even the most complex environments, without the need for perimeter wires or external antennas.
The H2’s advanced navigation and detection system allows it to generate detailed 3D maps of the lawn in real time, learning and optimising mowing paths for maximum efficiency.
Its vision technology can detect objects as small as 1 cm and recognise over 200 types of objects, including both stationary and moving obstacles such as garden furniture, pets, and swings.
Its design preserves Navimow’s distinctive cylindrical form while preserving the brand’s iconic orange elements, featuring a practical integrated handle and exposed rear wheels that highlight its durability.
