Pramac partners with BlueBotics to launch line of ANT driven mobile robots

Pramac and BlueBotics have agreed a partnership which sees BlueBotics providing ANT navigation technology and fleet management software for Pramac’s new line of X-ACT mobile logistics robots.

Sold under Pramac’s new business unit, called Lifter Mobile Robotics, three X-ACT mobile robots are available currently, with several more in the pipeline.

Locus Robotics and Geodis to introduce ‘next-generation’ warehouse robotic automation to Mexico

Locus Robotics, a provider of autonomous mobile robots for fulfillment warehouses, has completed a new implementation with Geodis, a global logistics provider, to bring “high performance, next-generation robotics automation” to Mexico to fulfill e-commerce and retail orders for a major global apparel brand.

The new site, Geodis’ first in Latin America to feature Locus Robotics technology, is located in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico and features a fleet of Locus’s award-winning Origin bots operating across all levels of a three-level mezzanine structure, efficiently controlled by the innovative LocusOne warehouse execution platform.

Arm and Nuro partner to develop autonomous vehicles at commercial scale

Arm Holdings, a semiconductor design and software platform company, and Nuro, a developer of autonomous vehicles, have agreed a multi-year collaboration to drive a scalable approach to the commercialization of autonomous vehicles with AI built into their foundations.

As part of this partnership, Nuro is leveraging ​the​​​ leading-edge ​​​Arm ​Automotive Enhanced (AE) technology to develop the next generation Nuro Driver.

DB Schenker opens new Czech logistics center with 100 mobile robots

DB Schenker says its new contract logistics warehouse in Rudna, Czech Republic is “driving efficiency, quality, and speed in the supply chain”.

With the new site, the logistics provider combines customized logistics solutions with automation and robotization to transform operations within the warehouse.

TGW Logistics unveils robot capable of picking 1,000 items an hour

TGW Logistics has unveiled an industrial robotic arm for material handling that is capable of picking 1,000 items an hour.

The company says its experts have channeled 50 years of technical knowledge into the picking robot which “raises picking efficiency to a whole new level”.

RovoFlex stands out due to its high productivity, simple handling and maximum reliability, says TGW. US-based sports nutrition retailer installing 48 Brightpick Autopicker robots

Brightpick, a provider of warehouse automation solutions for order fulfillment, says that The Feed, a US-based sports nutrition and gear ecommerce retailer, has begun installation of 48 Brightpick Autopicker robots that will go live at their warehouse at the end of March 2024.

Brightpick also announced that another installation of Brightpick Autopickers went live in November 2023 in an EU-based Dr Max distribution center that replenishes Dr Max pharmacies.
