InOrbit brings RobOps to advanced robot simulations powered by Nvidia

January 16, 2024 by David Edwards

InOrbit, provider of cloud-based robot operations (RobOps) software, is collaborating with Nvidia to “blend reality and simulation in robot deployments”.

This work takes the recently launched InOrbit missions to a new level, enabling end users such as logistics providers to define missions once, execute them in both simulated and real environments, and analyze the results through a single pane of glass, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI-powered robotics technology and real-world applications at scale.

InOrbit leverages the Nvidia Isaac Sim extensible robotics simulator powered by Nvidia Omniverse to model complex environments and robot behaviors that closely match the real world. [Read more…] about InOrbit brings RobOps to advanced robot simulations powered by Nvidia

634AI and InOrbit collaborate to bring ‘more efficient’ AMR fleet management to US

November 11, 2021 by Mark Allinson

634AI, the developers of Maestro, an AI-enabled control tower for streamlining the management of industrial indoor mobility, has agreed a collaboration with InOrbit, a cloud-based management platform for robot operations at scale.

The joint solution is designed to enable a deeper understanding of the flows on industrial and warehouse floors, to support the easy integration of AMRs on work floors and optimize their activity.

Maestro is an AI powered centralized Control Tower that enables effective and harmonized indoor operations, from tracking of raw material movements and real time safety alerts for man driven vehicles, to navigation and fleet management of AMRs. InOrbit to support MassRobotics AMR Interoperability Standard

August 25, 2021 by David Edwards

InOrbit, a provider of a cloud-based robot operations platform, says its technology is now fully compatible with robots that implement the recently announced MassRobotics AMR Interoperability Standard.

The standard for autonomous mobile robots was developed recently by business accelerator MassRobotics and is helping robotics companies become standard-compliant.

The standard allows autonomous vehicles of different types to share information about their robots speed, location, direction, health, tasking and availability and other performance characteristics. [Read more…] about InOrbit to support MassRobotics AMR Interoperability Standard
