How Regulatory Technology Impacts Banking Compliance

May 26, 2024 by Mark Allinson

Regulatory technologies (RegTech) are an emerging trend in the banking sector. The global regtech market size is projected to grow to $85,92 billion to 2032.

The market expansion is driven by the rapid adoption of advanced technologies and the need of banking business to address increasingly complex regulatory requirements.

Since regulations become more complex, and change frequently, human compliance managers find it hard to address all the compliance requirements. [Read more…] about How Regulatory Technology Impacts Banking Compliance

What Are the Challenges of Arabic Game Localization?

December 3, 2022 by Mark Allinson

Arabic is one of the world’s ancient languages. It is the official language of 26 states. Being the 5th most spoken language and with a huge gaming community, the Arabic language has unique attributes as a language. It is quite different from the other European languages.

That’s why the biggest community businesses have to opt for Arabic translation services to reach Arab audiences. Arab countries are among the top ones having the maximum number of users and game players.

The Arab market is the most revenue-generating in terms of games. That further motivates the game owners to go for   services targeting the Arab world. However, localization could get tough and complicated for Arabic audiences due to the Arabic language and its complexities. [Read more…] about What Are the Challenges of Arabic Game Localization?

SAE International launches 12-week robotics for autonomous vehicle systems training ‘Bootcamp’

April 14, 2021 by Elaine

Virtual 12-week experience provides career development opportunities for engineers entering the fast-growing autonomous vehicles industry

SAE International has announced the new 12-week Robotics for Autonomous Vehicle Systems Bootcamp for recent graduates and/or entry-level mechanical, electrical and computer science engineers joining the industry to support autonomous vehicle (AV) system development.

In partnership with Clemson University and Argo AI, SAE designed the rigorous, virtual-only workforce development experience to provide participants with an in-depth technical understanding of how to build autonomous systems.

“Companies can spend upwards of 10 months onboarding entry-level AV positions, which in this fast-moving industry can directly hinder the development and deployment cycles. The Robotics for Autonomous Vehicle Systems Bootcamp aims to support both employers and professionals by bridging the training gap through an accelerated 12-week bootcamp,” said Elizabeth Melville, director of learning at SAE International.
