6 Ways to Enhance Automation Workflow Using AI Tools

June 18, 2024 by David Edwards

If you’re looking to boost productivity and remain competitive in the currently both volatile and increasingly competitive market, you shouldn’t sleep on AI-powered tools.

Not only can they streamline various business processes, but they can also enhance productivity in ways traditional automation can’t match.

While traditional automation tools still have their uses, they follow strict, pre-defined rules, which naturally limit their flexibility. [Read more…] about 6 Ways to Enhance Automation Workflow Using AI Tools

DTAC consortium demonstrates AI and autonomous robots at Munich Airport

May 20, 2024 by David Edwards

In front of an audience of numerous high-ranking representatives from politics, industry, administration and the media, researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML demonstrated the initial results of the “Digital Testbed Air Cargo” (DTAC) research project at Munich Airport last week – a groundbreaking presentation of solutions that will make optimal use of the potential of digital technologies and actively shape the future of air cargo.

A “robot dog” patroling autonomously through the warehouse looking for free storage locations, a highly dynamic transport robot that automatically moves pallets to their storage locations and a very flexible “segway robot” that places parcels from Euro-pallets onto a conveyor belt: Sounds like science fiction? But it’s not, as researchers from Fraunhofer IML have now demonstrated to the public for the first time at Munich Airport.

How to Tell if an Email Was Written by AI

May 9, 2024 by David Edwards

As artificial intelligence comes to the forefront more often, delineating whether a human or a machine with response-generating algorithms wrote an email takes on a heightened sense of importance.

Here, the main goal is to end the myths that make each minute code and its presence easier to identify. The comparison starts with the peculiarities in the language.

It continues with a discussion on syntax, an element that is uniquely human, being impossible to simulate in artificial intelligence. [Read more…] about How to Tell if an Email Was Written by AI
