Bosch is continuing its software offensive. The technology company’s Industrial Technology business sector is pursuing ambitious goals: by the beginning of the next decade, it wants its sales revenue from software and software-related services to have reached around €1 billion.

BlueBotics, a provider of autonomous navigation and fleet management, has introduced ANT locator – a versatile tracking solution designed to enhance the management of manual forklifts and their integration with automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
Building upon the company’s established vehicle positioning technology, ANT locator offers precise tracking capabilities for both indoor and outdoor environments, facilitating improved operational efficiency and safety.

Swisslog, a provider of warehouse automation and software, says that long-time customer Medline will implement an AutoStore system optimized by Swisslog’s SynQ software within its Aurora, Colorado facility.
When completed, it will be the 24th AutoStore system installation since the two companies began working together more than a decade ago.

A fully robotic restaurant powered by Kuka automation technology has opened in Barcelona, combining cutting-edge robotics with culinary flair in what is described as Europe’s first restaurant of its kind.
The new venue, known as “Rob.A – The Robot Restaurant”, is the result of a collaboration between Kuka and Spanish robotics startup Areas, which developed the concept and integrated the robotics and software behind the operation.
At Rob.A, guests are greeted not by waiters, but by industrial and collaborative robots. A Kuka KR Agilus robot prepares sushi behind a glass counter, slicing and assembling with precision. Cimcorp, a specialist in intralogistics automation, is targeting the electric vehicle battery-manufacturing sector, as the global group continues to grow.
