Techman Robot has launched a new robot, giving the first opportunity to see the TM AI Cobot TM25S at the Automate Show.

The company says its “revolutionary” 25 kg payload collaborative robot joins TM Robot’s already impressive lineup and the TM AI Cobot S Series.

These innovative cobots set new benchmarks in the industry with their remarkable features and capabilities – the TM25S will be showcased for the first time at Automate 2023 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, from May 22–25, 2023. Techman unveils ‘industry’s lightest high-payload AI collaborative robot’

Techman Robot has released its TM20 robotic arm, which it describes as “the industry’s lightest high-payload AI collaborative robot”, adding that the machine “redefines collaborative robotics with next generation AI”.

Despite being very light, the TM20’s high payload capacity makes it the “ideal solution” for heavy-duty AMR (autonomous mobile robot) applications.

Omron launches new ‘high-performance’ collaborative robot for heavy payloads

Omron, a provider of industrial automation solutions, has launched its new Omron TM20 collaborative robot with a payload of 20 kg.

The new cobot is ideal for tasks such as palletizing, machine tending and material handling. Whilst managing heavy payloads, the Omron TM20 has a small footprint and a reach of 1,3 meters.

Techman Robot launches ‘all-in-one’ AI collaborative robot series

Techman Robot has launched its “TM AI Cobot” series, describing it as a “collaborative robot which combines a powerful and precise robot arm with native AI inferencing engine and smart vision system in a complete package”.

The company says the new machine is ready for deployment in factories and can accelerate the transition to Industry 4.0.

Techman says the TM AI Cobot works on the principle of being smart, simple and safe. By combining visual processing in the robot arm, the AI Cobot can perform fast and precise pick and place, AMR, palletizing, welding, semi-conductor and product manufacturing, automated optical inspections (AOI) and food service preparation, among many other applications that can be accelerated by AI-Vision. Automating cricket ball production: Global cricket ball manufacturer uses automation with a vision system for efficiency and upskilling

Under the laws of cricket, it is illegal for players to rub any substance other than saliva and sweat onto the ball, let alone scuffing it with their fingernails. Similarly, strict rules apply to the manufacturing of cricket balls.

Here’s how cricket ball manufacturer Kookaburra designed its first ever machine tending robotic system to produce the perfect ball, with the help of industrial robot supplier, TM Robotics and MAP Services, Australian partner for TM Robotics and Shibaura Machine.

Machine tending is repetitive work. The job of loading and unloading machines with parts or materials are usually done by humans. In the production of cricket balls, workers would place covers – the outside leather of cricket balls – onto trays after being pressed into shape to form half of a cricket ball. These trays are then placed into a rack and moved to the next process – trimming excess leather from the pressed cover.
