Locus Robotics in technology partnership with RightHand Robotics

Locus Robotics, a provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) for fulfilment warehouses, and RightHand Robotics (RHR), a provider of integrated robotic piece-picking solutions, announced a partnership to deliver cross-platform robotics solutions for warehouse fulfilment operators.

Locus and RHR will give a preview of their multi-stage fulfilment solution at Manhattan Associates’ Momentum Conference 2019 from May 20 -23rd in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Their approach combines Locus’s autonomous multi-robot model for piece handling with RHR’s autonomous work cell to provide greater automation, addressing multiple fulfilment processes, from picking to packing, especially in high-volume environments.

RightHand Robotics system surpasses 10 million picks with RightPick platform

RightHand Robotics, a provider of autonomous robotic piece-picking solutions, has released its RightPick2 solution, the company’s next-generation, integrated software and hardware product platform.

The launch was made at the ongoing ProMat Show in Chicago, a major showcase for material handling automation for supply chain, distribution and manufacturing.

Integrated put wall system with latest RightPick solution to be demonstrated at ProMat

RightHand Robotics, a provider of integrated robotic piece-picking solutions, has launched its first put wall integration with Capacity, an order fulfillment and e-commerce solutions company.

RightHand’s newest RightPick product platform will be integrated with existing warehouse material handling systems from Lightning Pick, a provider of light-directed and advanced order fulfillment systems.

PalTac selects RightHand Robotics to further automate supply chain operations

RightHand Robotics, a provider of robotic piece-picking solutions, has partnered with PalTac, Japan’s largest wholesaler of consumer packaged goods.

The collaboration will introduce RightHand’s newest piece-picking solution to the Japanese market, with multiple workstations to be installed in PalTac’s newest facility, RDC Saitama, opening later in 2019 in Sugito, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

RightHand Robotics raises $23 million in Series B funding

RightHand Robotics, a provider of integrated robotic piece-picking solutions, has secured $23 million in a Series B funding round led by Menlo Ventures, an active investor in the robotics sector.

GV, formerly Google Ventures, also joined this round along with existing investors, including Dream Incubator, Matrix Partners, and Playground Global.

RightHand Robotics claims automated piece-picking ‘world record’

RightHand Robotics, a provider of robotic piece-picking solutions, claims that a team of its automation partners have set a world record at the recent Modex supply chain event.

RightPick workcells successfully picked and placed 131,072 items over the duration of the show at the Georgia World Congress Center, says the company.

The workcells were featured in five exhibitor booths at the show, enabling partner companies to showcase how robotic piece-picking increases the value of their respective solutions for e-commerce fulfillment and intralogistics. Vecna Robotics partners with RightHand Robotics to ‘streamline’ intralogistics and material handling

Vecna Robotics, a maker of mobile robots for logistics, and RightHand Robotics, a developer of robotic picking solutions, have agreed on a collaboration that they say will improve the performance of e-commerce order fulfillment.

Together, the companies say they can offer “best-in-class solutions” to simplify intralogistics and material handling challenges.
