Critical Manufacturing is planning to showcase what it describes as its “ground-breaking” manufacturing execution system at Hannover Messe.

The company says it is helping high-tech manufacturing companies optimize efficiency, enhance quality, reduce costs and make their businesses more agile with its “ground-breaking manufacturing execution system”. 

Critical Manufacturing says it will be showcasing the “enormous capability” of this modern, Industry 4.0 ready, modular system at this year’s Hannover Messe from 1st to 5th April.

Plex launches mobile app for manufacturing management

Plex Systems, a provider of cloud enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution system software for manufacturing, has released Plex Mobile, a new, native mobile app which the company says is “purpose-built to address the needs of manufacturing professionals”.

The app works as a seamless extension of the Plex Manufacturing Cloud, enabling a manufacturer’s workforce to handle key business-critical shop floor and administrative responsibilities, and access and share relevant information real-time from mobile devices.

42Q, a provider of cloud manufacturing execution systems, says Sanmina has reached a milestone of connecting more than 25,000 pieces of manufacturing equipment to the 42Q internet of things cloud solution.

Sanmina Corporation uses 42Q for real-time manufacturing visibility, process and quality control across their operations and as the backbone for “instant IoT” and manufacturing automation initiatives.

GE Digital launches new version of manufacturing execution system

GE Digital has launched the latest version of its manufacturing execution system software, Production Manager.

The company says the new version of Production Manager addresses important issues where existing plant floor IT systems are inconsistent across plants and, therefore, managers can’t re-use configurations, leverage expertise, or lower overall MES costs.
