Getting your feet wet in the investment industry is a bit of a complicated process. The first thing you need to do to make your trading process more efficient and beneficial is to find a financial service provider that will furnish you with proper tools, charts, trading platforms, accounts, and so forth.

As the demand for brokers increases as time goes by so does the competition between the financial companies. All of this makes it hard to find the most suitable brokerage for you. On top of that, as the investment space expands more and more scum and fraud cases are skyrocketing.

Investfox.com – a newly launched European startup – comes with solutions. This is a platform that aims to make the investment industry more transparent with the use of both experts and user-generated reviews and in addition to that, the process of choosing the right broker for you can become quite simple for both novice or seasoned traders. San Francisco looks like a scene from Blade Runner

September 10, 2020 by Sam Francis

The original Blade Runner film was regarded as a cinematic classic partly because of its depiction of an eery, dystopic world where the sky is permanently a dark, dusty orangey colour, possibly suggesting acid rain or something slightly toxic in the air because of the dirty and polluting machines and factories down on the ground.

It was a ground-breaking, startling view of the future and was in complete contrast to the vast majority of science fiction films that came and went before it as they mostly showed the future as relatively bright and pollution-free, or at least the colour of the sky wasn’t a consideration as such.

Now, in the real world, modern San Francisco is shrouded in a blanket of cloud that looks quite similar to the world of Blade Runner. The dramatic change has been caused by the “worst wildfires in the history of the state of California”, according to those who are tasked to deal with them. Don’t let harmonics get you down: Top tips for choosing the right harmonic filter

John Mitchell, global business development manager of supply, repair and field service specialist, CP Automation, shares his top tips for companies that want to commission or replace harmonic filters

In 1976, it was discovered that the bacteria causing Legionnaires disease, an atypical strain of pneumonia, had always been present in water, but it was the precise temperature of the water in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems that facilitated the bacteria’s maximum reproduction levels. This is just one example of the unintended consequences of technology.

A similar and more recent story comes from the world of industry and features the growing problem of harmonic currents and utility level voltage distortion, as a result an increasing number of non-linear loads in industrial and commercial environments.  [Read more…] about Don’t let harmonics get you down: Top tips for choosing the right harmonic filter
