Cyngn modifies autonomous mobile robot to work outdoors

Cyngn, a developer of autonomous vehicle technology, says its AI-powered autonomous driving solution, DriveMod, will now be able to operate in outdoor environments.

Organizations will be able to send the DriveMod Tugger on missions that go indoors and outdoors, giving facility managers even more opportunity to automate repetitive workflows and shift employees over to more interesting, higher-value tasks.

As modern warehouses and manufacturing complexes grow ever larger – many surpassing 200,000 square feet and spanning multiple buildings – the challenge of efficiently moving materials from point A to point B becomes increasingly complex. Cyngn expands dealer network to include Alta Equipment

Cyngn has expanded its dealer network to include Alta Equipment Group, which is said to have more than $1 billion in annual sales.

The purveyor of both construction and material handling equipment will begin selling Cyngn’s autonomous DriveMod Tugger. The DriveMod Tugger bundles Cyngn’s autonomous vehicle technology with Motrec’s MT-160.

Cyngn scales up commercialization of autonomous mobile robots

Cyngn has revealed several commercial and technological accomplishments from the first quarter of 2024, including valuable progress with renowned brands like John Deere and Rivian, the expansion of its distribution network, and key collaborations aimed at advancing the company’s artificial intelligence and robotics technologies.

Cyngn agrees ‘pre-order’ deal with Arauco for 100 autonomous electric forklifts

Cyngn, a developer of AI-powered autonomous driving solutions for industrial applications, has signed paid “pre-order agreement” with Arauco, a producer of sustainable forestry products, pulp, and engineered wood that supplies the furniture and construction industries.

The initial 100 autonomous electric DriveMod-enabled forklifts aim to enhance Arauco’s operations and drive efficiency in their material handling processes in the near future.

The company says this pre-order agreement marks a significant milestone in Cyngn’s DriveMod Forklift initiative that was first announced in June and exemplifies the two companies’ collaborative efforts to power AI innovations. Cyngn and Columbia Vehicle Group to begin building fleet of autonomous industrial vehicles

Cyngn and Columbia Vehicle Group have started the production of autonomous Columbia Stockchaser vehicles powered by Cyngn’s Enterprise Autonomy Suite.
