AutoStore launches ‘multi-temperature’ automated storage and retrieval system

AutoStore has added new capabilities to its automated storage and retrieval system for warehouses: the AutoStore Multi-Temperature Solution, an expanded 18-Level Grid, a Motorized Service Vehicle, and enhancements to the cube control software.

Building on AutoStore’s foundation of density, efficiency, and scalability, the company says these new innovations will “help businesses maintain a competitive edge” with their automated fulfillment solutions.

Mats Hovland Vikse, CEO of AutoStore, says: “AutoStore is shifting to a regular cadence of product announcements, focusing on innovation and execution to better serve our customers.

Kenco AutoStore System now live at Jeffersonville, Indiana distribution center

Kenco, a third-party logistics provider, says its installation of a system from AutoStore, a provider of an automated storage and retrieval system, is live at the company’s Jeffersonville, Indiana distribution center.

Designed in conjunction with KPI Solutions, the system is Kenco’s largest AutoStore installation, with 49,000 bins, 130 grid robots, 10 picking ports and four replenishment ports.

Specifically designed to meet the needs of Kenco’s fulfillment customers, the AutoStore ASRS’ cubic layout quadruples storage capacity vs. traditional warehouse racking. The system maximizes existing labor and space, enabling 24/7 fulfillment and covering about a quarter of one facility at the Jeffersonville campus. AutoStore establishes new assembly factory in Thailand

Pio brings warehouse robotics system to the US

AutoStore introduces ‘world’s first’ PickUpPort in collaboration with Element Logic

AutoStore, a specialist in automated storage and retrieval systems, has unveiled what it says is “the world’s first in-store solution equipped with an AutoStore PickUpPort”.

The system enables “fully automatic delivery of goods to customers”, and is now operational at thansen’s brand-new store in Copenhagen, Denmark.

DHL and AutoStore expand partnership to further automate global warehousing

DHL Supply Chain, one of the world’s largest contract logistics companies, and AutoStore, a robotic technology company specializing in automated storage and retrieval systems, are expanding their partnership in a move set to further automated warehouse operations on global scale.

DHL Supply Chain, already involved in nine operational AutoStore warehouse projects with four more in the planning stage, is poised to become one of AutoStore’s largest 3PL clients, reinforcing their commitment to digitalization and automation.

The nine existing Systems effectively operate 800,000 bins, with the forthcoming four Systems elevating the total number of bins to a remarkable 1.2 million. SVT Robotics and Kardex Solutions partner to develop end-to-end pick and pack solution

Sweden’s leading online pharmacy Apotea automated its logistics centre in Autumn 2022 to quickly, easily, and smoothly deliver approximately 50,000 orders a day to its customers.
