Nvidia’s $500 billion supercomputing push: Automation, ecosystem, and the AI race

For the first time since its inception, Nvidia is planning to manufacture AI supercomputers entirely within the United States, marking a significant pivot toward domestic production.

The initiative includes over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Texas, partnering with Foxconn in Houston and Wistron in Dallas, with mass production expected to ramp up over the next 12 to 15 months.

Doosan Robotics to supply 300 collaborative robots across Southeast Asia

Doosan Robotics has signed an agreement with VRNJ, a robotic system integrator in Thailand, for the supply of 300 collaborative robots.

Under the agreement, Doosan Robotics will deliver 300 units from its four collaborative robot series – A, H, M, and P – over the next two years, with an initial order of 60 units already confirmed.

Additionally, both companies have committed to developing tailored automation solutions for manufacturing applications and expanding their presence in key Southeast Asian markets, including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Dassault Systèmes and Kuka partner to boost robotics and automation efficiency for manufacturers

Dassault Systèmes has agreed a partnership with the industrial automation and robotics company Kuka to provide manufacturing industries with comprehensive solutions that meet growing demands in robotics and automation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dassault Systèmes is joining mosaixx, Kuka’s digital ecosystem for industrial software solutions, offering Kuka customers an easy way to purchase and use Dassault Systèmes’ 3DExperience platform and applications.

Mitsubishi Electric launches lightweight SCARA robot series to support digital transformation in manufacturing

Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new series of SCARA robots designed to accelerate digital transformation (DX) in manufacturing, with features aimed at increasing performance, reducing maintenance needs, and simplifying system integration.

The new RH-CRH series includes two models: the RH-10CRH, which offers a payload of up to 10 kg, and the RH-20CRH, which supports heavier items up to 20 kg.

The robots feature maximum reach radii ranging from 600 mm to 1000 mm, making them suitable for applications including assembly, coating, precision conveyance, and packaging across sectors such as automotive and food production. Scientists develop autonomous robot to harvest strawberries

​Researchers at Osaka Metropolitan University have developed an autonomous robot capable of navigating and harvesting strawberries in high-bed cultivation environments using lidar technology.

Autonomous trucking company Kodiak Robotics to go public: What it means and why it matters

Kodiak Robotics, a startup developing autonomous truck technology, is planning to go public via a merger with Ares Acquisition Corporation II, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC).

The deal values Kodiak at approximately $1.1 billion in net proceeds and $2.5 billion in total equity value, according to statements from the company.

While the transaction is still subject to approval by shareholders and regulators, it is expected to close in the second half of 2025.
