The Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) hosted the fifth annual Massachusetts Manufacturing Mash-Up at Gillette Stadium on October 21, bringing together manufacturers, students and policymakers to celebrate innovation and strengthen the state’s industrial ecosystem.
The full-day event featured exhibitions, live demonstrations, and engagement opportunities for more than 300 students from Innovation Career Pathway high schools, community colleges and universities across Massachusetts.
This year’s Mash-Up provided a platform for manufacturers to explore new trends and technologies, share best practices for resiliency, and connect with emerging talent to help build the next-generation workforce.
CAM also announced 29 new Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerate Program (MMAP) awards, alongside a revitalized MMAP initiative that includes increased funding and updated matching requirements to expand industry participation.
