Netlogistik partners with SVT Robotics to resell SoftBot platform

Netlogistik, a tech specialist which helps companies with the digital transformation of their supply chain, is partnering with SVT Robotics, a software provider that empowers IT teams to integrate, monitor, and scale automation with the tech-agnostic SoftBot platform.

This partnership enables Netlogistik’s customers using Blue Yonder to easily deploy automation, reduce support costs, and maximize uptime across their facilities.

Samsung develops hip-assist robot to advance fitness in the elderly

Samsung Electronics has developed what it describes as a “hip-assist robot to advance fitness in the elderly”.

EX1, as the robot is called, significantly improves physical functions and balance in older adults, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.

Toyota partners with Ready Robotics on robotic programming

Ready Robotics, a provider of operating systems for automation and robotics, is collaborating with Toyota Motor Corporation and Nvidia to bring a “significant leap forward” in industrial robotics.

Toyota will employ Ready ForgeOS in tandem with Nvidia Isaac Sim, a robotics simulator developed on Nvidia Omniverse, to build a “state-of-the-art simulated robotic programming environment” for its aluminum hot forging production lines.

Asensus Surgical completes in vivo surgeon lab for LUNA surgical robotic system

Asensus Surgical, a medical device company that is digitizing the interface between the surgeon and the patient, has unveiled “a key development milestone” for LUNA, the company’s second-generation surgical robotic system.

During the week of December 11, 2023, the Company hosted a Surgeon Lab in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina to conduct an in vivo evaluation of LUNA’s hardware, software and instruments in porcine models.

Exotec opens new hub for its automated conveyor range

Exotec, a provider of robotic solutions for warehouses, has opened a new production space in Croix, France. The new space will house the production of Exotec’s Skypath conveyor range, producing an average of thirty modules per day.

Located in Rue du Creusot in Croix, near Exotec’s headquarters, the new 2,500 sq m space marks a strategic milestone in the company’s rapid growth.
