Colgate, the toothpaste and personal care giant, has teamed up with Megvii Automation & Robotics to upgrade traditional warehouses.

Megvii has implemented its “Matrix8 Storage”, which is a smart solution for high density storage using 4 way pallet shuttles, aiming to enhance storage capacity and customer satisfaction for Colgate’s clients through intelligent upgrade.

Megvii 3D pallet shuttle robot awarded CE certificate

Megvii Automation & Robotics, the robotic arm of AI giant Megvii, has received a CE certificate from SGS, a top testing, inspection, and certification company, at the Logimat 2023 trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany.

Megvii Automation & Robotics says this certification is a “major milestone” for the company’s independent material-handling solutions in European markets, making it the first Chinese peer to receive official certification for meeting EU safety standards.

According to Mark Lohmann, SGS’s Global Certification Visa Officer, Megvii’s 3D pallet shuttle systems have passed a series of rigorous safety assessments and tests, including safety structure, electrical and mechanical safety of the entire machine, electromagnetic compatibility, functional safety, components, battery, and BMS safety. Megvii to showcase new generation pallet handling robots

MEGVII Automation & Robotics, an AI company that understands logistics the best, announces it will be exhibiting at LogiMAT 2023, held from Apr 25 to Apr 27 in Stuttgart, Germany, at booths #1OG82 in Hall 1 Gallery.

They launched a new generation 3D Pallet Shuttle System in 2022. The unique design distributed control architecture and intelligent software empowered by Megvii AI platform make this system representative of the new generation of pallet shuttles. A half year after the launch, about 500 units were implemented worldwide.

They will showcase this new generation pallet handling solution, a 3D pallet shuttle system in Logimat and demonstrate how to increase capacity, improve space utilization, reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions and be more productive. Chinese startup develops industrial robot for Foxconn for smartphone manufacturing

A Chinese startup company called Megvii has developed an industrial robot for Foxconn to use in its smartphone manufacturing operations. 

Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision, is the main supplier to Apple, making iPhones and iPads for the tech giant.
