Dexterity and Kawaski partner to produce ‘world’s first intelligent robot arm’

Dexterity, a specialist in physical AI and robotics, has agreed a strategic partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, one of the world’s largest robotic arm manufacturing companies, to produce high-performance robot arms for Dexterity’s hardware platform: the Mech.

The Mech is a roving, two-armed robot designed from the ground up to embody Physical AI in industrial applications. And it is being described by the companies as “the world’s first intelligent robot arm designed for warehouse applications”.

Its roving base enables it to go where large enterprises need heavy lifting of a wide range of goods, and its lightweight but powerful, dual arm design enables it to pick and pack goods at the speed of operations – and beyond. Autonomous electric truck company Einride to adopt hands-free charging solutions from Rocsys

The collaboration highlights Rocsys’ hands-free charging of Einride’s autonomous electric vehicle, showcasing the seamless integration of end-to-end automated operations.

AMD to sell its ZT Systems server manufacturing business to Sanmina for $3 billion

AMD, one of the world’s largest semiconductor companies, has entered into a definitive agreement to sell ZT Systems’ US-headquartered data center infrastructure manufacturing business to Sanmina, an integrated manufacturing solutions company.

As part of the transaction, Sanmina becomes a preferred new product introduction (NPI) manufacturing partner for AMD cloud rack and cluster-scale AI solutions.

Aigen launches new robots for clearing weeds from farm fields

Aigen, the agricultural technology company aiming to help reduce chemical usage through smarter farming, has unveiled its Element gen2 robot for daily weed control. (See video below.)

The company also announced a strategic partnership with Bowles Farming Company, a sixth-generation family farm in California’s Central Valley, that will see robotic crews weeding Bowles Cotton fields for the 2025 growing season, marking a significant expansion for Aigen into new crop types.

Updated based on 10,000+ hours of real-world farm experience, Element gen2 features a wider, taller design enabling operation in cotton, soy, and sugar beet fields – expanding Aigen’s addressable fields by millions of acres worldwide while helping American farmers increase yields and grow more attractive crops for export.
