Geekplus, a provider of warehouse robotics systems, will serve as a sponsor of the world’s first AI-driven, immersive, shoppable catwalk, an interactive retail-technology showcase by THG Studios and British fashion brand Topshop.
The event is presented in collaboration with headline sponsor PayPal and technology partner Google Cloud.
Taking place on February 26, 2026, at THG Studios in Manchester, UK, the event aspires to set a new global benchmark for fashion experiences with this “Runway to the Future”, designed as an interactive experience that incorporates an immersive Fulfilment Zone that will allow guests to follow a garment’s journey from global freight and warehouse picking to last-mile delivery.
The experience is set to be officially certified by the World Record Certification Agency (WRCA).
Rather than a traditional fashion show, the event is designed as a live demonstration of the future of e-commerce and retail.
Within the Fulfilment Zone, guests will walk through a series of branded logistics environments, from shipping containers and digital freight displays to automated lockers and delivery robots, before encountering Geekplus’ choreographed autonomous mobile P-series robots performing real-world picking and warehouse operations behind the scenes of the catwalk.
As fashion retail moves toward instant “buy-now” moments, the spotlight is increasingly shifting to what happens after the click: inventory visibility, fulfillment speed, order accuracy, delivery reliability, and returns processing.
Robotics automation has become central to meeting these demands, helping retailers manage SKU-heavy assortments, cope with demand spikes, and scale operations without sacrificing service levels.
Hannah Pym, chief brand and marketing officer at THG Ingenuity, says: “Collaborating with industry leaders like Geekplus is a significant endorsement of our vision for the future of commerce.
“This event is about more than a shoppable runway; it’s a forum for the future, and that future depends on a flawless end-to-end customer journey.”
Simon Houghton, director of sales – northern Europe, Geekplus EMEA, added: “For retailers, particularly in fashion, automation is no longer optional. Speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency increasingly determine who wins.
“This event gives audiences a rare chance to see those capabilities live, as Geekplus robots operate inside the show environment alongside models and designers.”
Geekplus works closely with THG Fulfil at its Omega distribution center in Warrington, UK, where Goods-to-Person robotics support mixed-size inventory to boost scalability, and provide real-time operational data,
By turning warehouse technology into part of the show, the THG Studios production aims to showcase how AI, robotics, and immersive commerce will reshape the future of retail.
