How Web Hosting Affects Business Growth

September 10, 2024 by Mark Allinson

The choice of web hosting package can either help or hurt the expansion of your company. A scalable hosting solution can facilitate the smooth expansion of your company by enabling you to add resources as required with little to no downtime.

Businesses that launch new goods, enter new markets, or deal with seasonal traffic increases need to be flexible. However, a hosting package that isn’t scalable enough can end up becoming a bottleneck, making it harder for you to expand and adjust to shifting needs.

You may experience greater bounce rates, missed sales, and a damaged reputation when your website struggles to keep up with rising traffic or resource requirements.

What are the four main types of crushers, who uses them and what are they for?

October 31, 2023 by Mark Allinson

Mechanical crushers have been around since the early part of the nineteenth century. Before then, people needed to break up rocks with hand tools.

Geek+ launches RoboShuttle Plus to compete with AutoStore

February 8, 2023 by Mai Tao

Geek+, a provider of mobile logistics robots, has released its latest solution, RoboShuttle Plus, which looks similar to, and may compete with, the AutoStore system.

Geek+ says its new RoboShuttle Plus system achieves one-stop storage and picking of all types of goods and delivers higher throughput and flexibility, adding that “this marks a significant advance in the interoperability of Geek+’s various robot models and a stride towards full warehouse automation”.

The upgraded solution fills the market gap for an all-in-one picking solution by coordinating of three types of robots around one centralized workstation: RoboShuttles handle vertical storage and retrieval of totes, P40 picking robots move smaller items, and P500 and P800 robots move medium to large items. Robotics Plus unveils autonomous modular vehicle to ‘alleviate agriculture labour shortages’

October 27, 2022 by Mark Allinson

Robotics Plus, a New Zealand-based agritech company, has launched an autonomous multi-use, modular vehicle platform for agriculture designed to carry out a variety of orchard and vineyard machine tasks – to “alleviate ongoing labor shortages and transform the industry”.

The multi-purpose unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) can be supervised in a fleet of vehicles by a single human operator. The vehicle uses a combination of vision systems and other technologies to sense the environment – to optimize tasks and allow intelligent and targeted application of inputs such as sprays.

Growers will be able to rotate multiple tools on the highly adaptable and configurable agriculture platform, depending on the day’s work – for jobs such as spraying, weed control, mulching, mowing and crop analysis.
