Richtech Robotics introduces ‘Scorpion’ service robot

Richtech Robotics, a Nevada-based provider of AI-driven service robots, has launched Scorpion, its AI-powered, single-arm beverage service robot.

Providing customized drink recommendations based on preferences and mood, Scorpion leverages Nvidia AI technologies to support its cocktail and wine tasting programs.

Additionally, Richtech Robotics signed a distributor agreement with Park 34 Liquor Store, under which the distributor has agreed to sell a minimum of 500 Scorpion units over five years, followed by a minimum of 500 units per year annually. Contra Costa Transportation Authority and May Mobility launch autonomous vehicle service in Martinez, California

Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) and May Mobility, an autonomous driving technology company, have launched Presto, a shared autonomous vehicle service for the general public in Martinez, California and Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (County Hospital) patients.

A goal of the service is to improve access to healthcare in the area by providing another reliable and convenient mode of transportation.

The free service will run Monday through Friday, first offering County Hospital patients rides from 2pm to 6pm and then opening to the general public from 6pm to 10pm. Contra Costa Transportation Authority and Beep to launch autonomous shuttle service

Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) has launched its second Presto autonomous shuttle service, which increases transportation access for seniors with Beep, a provider of autonomous shared mobility solutions.

With this launch, residents of the active senior Rossmoor 55+ community can now take advantage of the free pilot shuttle program aimed at providing easy, stress- and emission-free transportation.

Service robots market growing ‘six times faster’ than industrial robots

The service robot market has undergone major changes over the past years. AI and machine learning enabled the development of machines capable of performing a variety of tasks with greater accuracy and efficiency than ever before.

Serve Robotics expanded delivery service in Los Angeles

Beep autonomous shuttle service launches at Honolulu International Airport

Beep, a provider of autonomous shared mobility solutions, has revealed a first-of-its-kind partnership with Sustainability Partners and the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) for the launch of an 18-month autonomous shuttle pilot at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu.
