JR Automation invests $4 million in Forever Feed Technologies

JR Automation has made a strategic investment valued at over $4 million into Forever Feed Technologies to implement eight indoor FFT Grow Systems, with core components ordered in Q4/2025.

Each FFT Grow System is designed to produce up to 50 tons of ForeverFeed sprouted grain per day using 95 percent less water than field grown alfalfa.

FFT integrated its proprietary indoor growing protocols with JRA’s automation and digital technology expertise to design and build a patented, large-scale growing system capable of feeding more than 2,500 dairy or beef animals. JR Automation unveils plans for $72.8 million global headquarters in Michigan

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group company and global automation specialist, has unveiled plans for a new global headquarters in Zeeland, Michigan. The project is expected to cost $72.8 million. 

The announcement follows a strategic meeting in Tokyo between Hitachi executives, JR Automation leadership, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation, global collaboration, and investment in Michigan’s advanced manufacturing sector.

Hitachi to acquire robotic systems integrator JR Automation for $1.4 billion

Hitachi has entered into a definitive contract for the acquisition of the robotic system integrator business mainly operated by an American headquartered company, JR Automation.

Hitachi will conduct the acquisition with Crestview Partners.

JR Automation acquires Setpoint Systems and Setpoint, Inc

US-based JR Automation, a provider of intelligent automated manufacturing and distribution technology solutions  has acquired Setpoint Systems and Setpoint, Inc. The Setpoint companies create automation solutions for the e-commerce, amusement, and other industries.
