Doosan Robotics and Air-Oil Systems team up for strategic regional distribution partnership

Doosan Robotics, one of the world’s leading service robot and collaborative robot manufacturers,has teamed up with automation solutions specialist Air-Oil Systems for a strategic distribution partnership across Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, all in the United States.

Doosan Robotics’ full lineup of both collaborative and service robots – including their A, H, and M-Series – can now be distributed by Air-Oil to customers across each respective region.

Epson Robots has expanded its VT6L-Series lineup with the VT6L-DC All-in-One 6-Axis Robot and increased the functionality of its “no-code, easy-to-use” Epson RC+ Express programming software.

ABB has launched its smallest ever industrial robot, offering new possibilities for faster, more flexible and high-quality production of wearable smart devices.

Automotive Cells chooses Comau to build battery production lines

Comau has been selected by Automotive Cells Company – or ACC, a joint venture between Stellantis, TotalEnergies/Saft and Mercedes-Benz – to design and develop a “highly integrated” battery module production line for its future Gigafactory in Billy-Bercalu Douvrain, in the north of France.

With the projected capacity to ultimately ramp up to 40 GWh, ACC is set to become a European leader in enabling cleaner, efficient mobility for all. Under the terms of the agreement, Comau will supply ACC with the expertise and equipment needed to automate manufacturing of the next-generation EV batteries.

ABB invests in Scalable Robotics to expand welding systems portfolio

ABB is entering into a strategic partnership with US-based startup Scalable Robotics, to enhance its portfolio of user-friendly robotic welding systems.

Through 3D vision and embedded process understanding, the Scalable Robotics technology allows customers to easily program welding robots without the need for coding.

Ferrari calls in Comau to help with robotics learning centre

Industral robotics company Comau says it has developed the “advanced technologies and training solutions” for the educational project e.DO Learning Center, promoted by Ferrari with its ongoing support of an area in Italy.

The Center opened last week in the Istituto Istruzione Superiore (IIS) “Fermo Corni” of Modena (Italy), an Institute of Higher Education and a Secondary School.

The initiative, which highlights the increasing importance of bringing robotics from the factory to an increasing number of new sectors, provides students with a unique learning environment that is both fun and engaging.
