What the Robotics Industry Needs from Colleges: A Systems-Based Look at Education’s Role in Automation

June 13, 2025 by Sam Francis

The Talent Bottleneck in Robotics

The robotics and automation sector is growing at breakneck speed, driven by advances in machine learning, AI, manufacturing systems, and embedded technologies.

Yet, as these technologies surge forward, there remains a critical shortfall: a skilled, adaptable, and prepared workforce to meet this high-tech frontier’s challenges.

This mismatch between the speed of industry growth and the output of adequately trained graduates is not just a talent issue – it’s a systemic education failure. [Read more…] about What the Robotics Industry Needs from Colleges: A Systems-Based Look at Education’s Role in Automation

The Silent Signal Crisis: How AI in E-commerce is Only as Smart as the Data it Misses

June 13, 2025 by Sam Francis

AI isn’t Magic – it’s Math

Artificial Intelligence is everywhere in e-commerce. From algorithmic pricing to chatbot engagement and personalized recommendations, AI systems are shaping customer experience like never before.

But there’s a growing paradox: the smarter our systems get, the more invisible their flaws become. At the center of this issue is something few talk about but everyone suffers from – data incompleteness.

This isn’t about lacking more data. It’s about missing the right data.

In 2025, e-commerce AI systems are often built on flawed assumptions because 20% to 40% of behavioral data is lost before it even reaches the AI layer. This is the silent signal crisis. [Read more…] about The Silent Signal Crisis: How AI in E-commerce is Only as Smart as the Data it Misses
