Stäubli Robotics will host its first North East European Robotics & Automation Summit at its Welcome Center in Bayreuth, Germany, on November 19 and 20, following a restructuring of its sales operations across Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.
The company has consolidated its sales activities across the region, with overall responsibility centralized at its Bayreuth operation.
Peter Pühringer, managing director and regional robotics director at Stäubli Robotics, now oversees the strategic and operational management of the countries covered by the organization.
Stäubli says the restructuring is intended to streamline decision-making, improve coordination between national operations and provide international customers with a single point of contact across multiple European markets.
Pühringer says: “A company operating in multiple European countries can now rely on a single point of contact across all its locations.
“With the Summit, we’re bringing this benefit to life for the first time. We’ll showcase our portfolio of solutions in one location and connect customers, partners, and experts from all markets in the region.”
Held under the theme “Shaping the Future of Smart Manufacturing,” the two-day summit will cover robotics, physical AI, digitalization and flexible automation.
The program includes discussions on humanoid robots, the EU Machinery Regulation, the Cyber Resilience Act and logistics automation, alongside workshops and demonstrations covering machine vision, bin picking, mobile robots, digital twins and AI-supported inspection.
Simon Schmidt of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation will deliver a keynote on developments in humanoid robotics and applied research.
Stäubli will also demonstrate automation technologies with partners and system integrators in dedicated general industry and life sciences application areas.
Registration for the event closes on November 6.
