Techman Robot opens new office in the Netherlands

Techman Robot, a global leader of the collaborative robot has opened its first office in Europe, dedicated to providing instant services, training courses, and also as an inventory hub.

The new office is located in the Netherlands, which allows Techman Robot to respond effectively to the growing needs of their partners and customers in Europe, and also supports more local businesses that are interested in implementing robotic solutions.

RightHand Robotics continues global expansion with opening of sales office in Europe

RightHand Robotics (RHR), a provider autonomous robotic picking solutions, is continuing its global expansion with the establishment of a sales and business development office in Frankfurt, Germany.

With multiple customers and partners based in Europe, RHR’s German operation will strengthen the company’s business and enable them to further expand their presence as the market grows and their customer base deepens in the region.

With broad experience in next-generation fulfillment solutions, Jon Schechter has been named to lead RHR’s German office, serving as head of Europe. Schechter spent 10 years designing robotic fulfillment centers for e-commerce and retail distribution as part of Kiva Systems and Amazon Robotics. Doosan Robotics to open new US headquarters to expand distribution in the Americas

Doosan Robotics, a manufacturer of collaborative robots, says it plans to establish its first US office in Buford, Georgia by the end of 2019 to accelerate its distribution efforts.

The new office will serve as the headquarters for sales, marketing, training, and customer service in the Americas.

Doosan produced the first generation of cobots in 2018 and immediately grew into multiple channels. The company quickly solidified its global presence with the help of its parent company, a large industrial conglomerate. Mobile Industrial Robots opens new office in Germany

Mobile Industrial Robots, a supplier of warehouse automation technologies, has opened a new office in Frankfurt, Germany. 

The company says Germany and the Benelux countries are “very important markets with a huge potential for MiR”, so the opening of its Frankfurt office today is also important.

OnRobot opens research and development facility in Los Angeles

New office location in Culver City provides OnRobot opportunity to attract talent and add new products to a portfolio including robotic grippers inspired by lizards and sensors lending a human touch to robot arms

OnRobot, a provider of end-of-arm tooling for collaborative robot applications, has opened its first location specifically dedicated to research and development in the United States.

Based in Culver City in Los Angeles, California, the new office area boasts 6,000 square feet for engineers, researchers and local staff to work and develop new products. Last year marked OnRobot’s first foray into the LA area, as it acquired Perception Robotics.

Hitachi wins lift order in Hyderabad, India

Hitachi has been awarded a contract to supply 106 lifts for large-scale office buildings to be constructed in Hyderabad, a major city in South India. This is the largest order for Hitachi group’s lifts and escalators in India.

Hitachi Building Systems and Hitachi Lift India will deliver 72 lifts for the large-scale building complex Phoenix Spaces 285, located in a suburb of Hyderabad’s financial district and scheduled for completion in February 2020.

Hitachi Lift India will also deliver 34 lifts for Phoenix Aquilia, an office building located in the centre of Hyderabad’s financial district, which is scheduled to be completed in December 2019.

Work starts on ‘largest’ fully automated parking structure in the US

Creative Office Properties and Dasher Lawless Automation broke ground last month on a subterranean, 277 stall AutoParkit System.

It is the largest fully automated parking structure below grade in the US It is longer than a football field and features multiple load bays to service both tenants and guests.

Office building in Montreal given top energy-efficiency certification

The Le 1500, an office building in Montreal

 

A landmark building in Montreal, Canada has been given an energy-efficiency certification.

Le 1500, an office building on Robert-Bourassa Boulevard in Montreal, is now “Leed” certified in the category of “Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance” by the Canada Green Building Council.
