World’s tallest 3D-printed tower unveiled in Swiss Alps

A new architectural marvel, the Tor Alva, or “White Tower”, was inaugurated this week in the remote Swiss alpine village of Mulegns.

Standing at an impressive 30 meters (approximately 98 feet), it claims the title of the world’s tallest 3D-printed structure.

Global space economy market to surpass $511 billion in 2029, forecasts GlobalData

The global space economy market is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4 percent from $421.0 billion in 2024 to $511.2 billion in 2029, according to GlobalData, a data and analytics company.

The growth will be driven by an increase in the deployment of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites, productivity improvements in satellite equipment manufacturing, the competitive launch services landscape, and demand for services around data communications, navigation, and Earth observation.

GlobalData’s latest Strategic Intelligence report, “The Space Economy” reveals that space applications, which include satellite communications, navigation, and Earth observation, is the largest segment of the space economy and will grow at a CAGR of 2.9 percent to reach $334.8 billion by 2029. Omron’s Stuttgart Automation Center wins 2025 iF Design Award

Omron has been awarded the 2025 iF Design Award for its newly opened Automation Center (ATC) in Stuttgart, Germany. The center, which opened in April 2025, serves as a collaborative facility where Omron works with customers to develop advanced manufacturing solutions.

This marks the second time Omron has received an iF Design Award for one of its permanent facilities. The first was awarded in 2021 for the company’s ATC in Tokyo.

Doosan Robotics intensifies humanoid development in AI-driven strategic shift

Apple reportedly exploring new human-robot training method using Vision Pro

This development was detailed in a research paper published on Wednesday, just a week after the tech giant unveiled its Matrix3D and StreamBridge AI models, signaling a continued push into artificial intelligence and robotics.
