US military selects Parrot as new supplier of drones

Parrot, a drone manufacturer, has been selected to take part in the Blue Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) programme by the US Army and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU).

The DIU is a Department of Defense organisation that accelerates commercial technology for national defense.

Accerion launches ‘world’s first infrastructure-free, sub-millimeter accuracy’ localization sensor for mobile robots

Accerion has released a new localization sensor for mobile robots and automated guided vehicles.

The company says the sensor, called Triton, “sets the new standard” in mobile robot and AGV positioning for manufacturers and logistics operators who demand the highest degree of flexibility, adaptability, speed and precision.

New Honda and Suzuki models use ThyssenKrupp carbon wheels

The German carbon wheels manufacturer, ThyssenKrupp Carbon Components, has expanded its portfolio by five models within the last two months.

In detail three Suzuki models of the street sector, namely the GSXS1000, GSX-S1000F and Katana as well as Honda’s new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and the SP version, can now be equipped with braided carbon wheels of the highest quality.

ThyssenKrupp Carbon Components’ patented braiding technology ensures not only stunning optics but also high damage tolerance. The carbon wheels for both Japanese manufacturers are available in Style 1 and – thanks to ABE, DOT E and JWL homologation – road-legal worldwide. Cosel announces 3W high isolation DC/DC converters for medical and industrial applications

Cosel Co, Ltd announced the addition of a new series of high isolation 3W DC/DC converters for medical and industrial applications.

Packaged in a Single In Line (SIP) type 8, the Cosel MH3 series has a reinforce isolation of 3kVAC, 4.2KVDC, complies with medical isolation standard (2MOOP (250VAC)) and ruggedized for industrial applications that might implies differential In/Out voltage.

Three input voltages (4.5V-18V ; 9V – 36V and 18V -76V) and a large variety of single (MHFS3) and dual output (MHFW3) cover a large range of applications. Designed for performances, the MH3 has only 20pF max insulation capacitance reducing noise transfer. Delta provides EV charging solutions to Jaguar Land Rover Philippines

Delta Electronics Int’l (Singapore), a provider of power and thermal management solutions, installed the first electric vehicle charging station for a car manufacturer in the Philippines at the Coventry Motors Corporation Greenhills Showroom of Jaguar Land Rover Philippines.

Delta will supply AC Mini Plus chargers and DC Wallbox chargers to the showrooms and testing areas of Jaguar Land Rover Philippines located in 1008 EDSA Greenhills, San Juan and BGC, Taguig City.

TypingDNA Aims to Increase the Adoption of Behavioral Biometrics Worldwide

Behavioral biometrics company TypingDNA has announced a successful funding round, capping at $7,000,000.

TypingDNA was founded in Romania in 2016. Since 2018 they have a branch in New York and have raised around $8.8 million to date. Google’s AI-focused venture fund, Gradient Ventures, and EU-based fund GapMinde led the latest funding round.
