Indian robotics company Ati Motors raises $20 million to expand its market

Ati Motors, a developer of AI and autonomous robotics, has closed $20 million Series B investment led by Walden Catalyst Ventures (WCV) and NGP Capital (NGP) with participation from current investors including True Ventures, Exfinity Venture Partners, Athera Venture Partners and Blume Ventures.

The funding comes on the heels of Ati Motors exceptional performance, marked by a tripled order book in Q4 2024 and the addition of nine industry leading clients.

Serve Robotics secures $86 million in new financing

Serve Robotics, an autonomous delivery company, has raised gross proceeds of $86 million during December 2024, bringing total gross proceeds raised in 2024 to $167 million.

Since its spinout from Uber in 2021, the Company has secured approximately $220 million in total funding. The additional December 2024 funding includes proceeds raised through Serve’s previously filed ATM facility and the exercise of warrants. As of December 31, 2024, Serve had a total of approximately 51.5 million shares of common stock issued and outstanding.

This infusion of capital significantly strengthens Serve’s financial position, extending its expected operational runway approximately through the end of 2026. Serve is now able to self-fund equipment investments, eliminating the near-term need for equipment financing and its associated servicing costs. ANYbotics raises additional $60 million to drive US expansion

ANYbotics, a provider of four-legged robotic inspection solutions, has raised an additional $60 million, bringing its total funding to over $130 million.

The new funding is led by Qualcomm Ventures and Supernova Invest, with participation from TDK Ventures and other new investors.

Backed by existing investors from Silicon Valley and Europe, including Walden Catalyst, NGP Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Swisscanto, and Swisscom Ventures, the funding will accelerate ANYbotics’ global scaling and recent expansion in the US to meet the growing demand for its industrial inspection robots and enhance the company’s ability to deliver exceptional services and seamless integrations worldwide. Indian robotics startup CynLr raises $10 million Series A funding

Cybernetics Laboratory (CynLr), which describes itself as an “Indian deeptech robotics startup”, has raised $10 million in a fresh round of Series A funding led by Pavestone and Athera Venture Partners (formerly Inventus India).

This new investment brings its total funding to $15.2 million. Existing investors Speciale Invest, Infoedge (Redstart) and others also participated in this round of fundraising.

CynLr will now expand its 60-member core team to a 120-member global team. Along with expanding its research and software-development team, CynLr will be hiring business and operational leaders, marketing and sales teams across India, US and Switzerland. Android maker 1X raises $100 million in Series B investment round

1X, an AI and robotics company producing androids to “meet the world’s labor demand”, has raised $100 million in Series B funding with participation from EQT Ventures and other notable global investors.

The company intends to utilize the new capital to bring to market its second generation android NEO. Designed as a bipedal humanoid, NEO is tailored for everyday home assistance, offering versatile support for a wide range of domestic tasks in the consumer market.

The funds will also support 1X’s existing enterprise clients in logistics and guarding. Startup Niryo raises €10 million to ‘democratize collaborative robot arms’

Niryo, the industrial startup specialized in the design of compact collaborative robotic arms, has completed a €6.4 million round of financing, marking a new stage in its ambition to revolutionize the collaborative robotics industry on a global scale.

This Series A financing round, led by the BPI Digital Venture investment fund, the Innovacom investment fund and four other historical funds (IRD, Finorpa, NFA and Go Capital), aims to support Niryo’s growth, particularly by addressing new use cases, developing a range aimed at professionals, and consolidating its international expansion.
