California’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control completed 3,454 investigations during fiscal year 2024-25. It filed 1,241 violation counts and registered 1,060 accusations against licensees.
ABC enforcement is not limited to one type of violation. Court proceedings differ depending on the state’s laws regarding alcoholic drinks.
