Cincoze launches new fanless embedded computer
Cincoze, a manufacturer of embedded systems, has launched the P2100 Series, including P2102 and P2102E.
The P2102 is a slim, fanless, embedded computer with the P2102E offering greater expandability.
Supporting Cincoze’s innovative modular design, the P2100 Series can also work as a panel PC when combined with various Cincoze display modules.
Powered by the 8th generation Intel Core U series processor, the P2100 Series provides high performance computing per watt (up to 4 cores, 4.10 GHz) at a TDP of only 15W to handle intensive computing tasks with low power consumption.
With Intel UHD Graphics 620, the P2100 Series supports triple independent displays (CDS/VGA/DisplayPort).
This provides an efficient solution for multi-display tasks involving advanced image processing in machines or plants.
At a mere 41.5 mm in height, the slim P2102 provides a high degree of flexibility to allow easy installation in space-constrained environments.
The P2102 has multiple functions and is highly versatile and easily configured. An M.2 2230 Key E slot and two full-size Mini-PCIe slots allow users to configure Wi-Fi, 3G, and LTE connectivity.
With a maintenance area in the front bezel, users can adjust the AT/ATX power setting, clear CMOS, or access the SIM card effortlessly without opening the case.
Two 2.5″ SATA SSD/HDDs with RAID 0/1 are also supported to offer storage management flexibility.
For further expansion requirements, the P2102E delivers high expandability through Mini-PCIe and PCI/PCIe slots, which can be used to install various add-on cards to increase functionality, such as data acquisition, motion control, and other I/O expansion.
Moreover, the Control Function Module (CFM) technology provides customized expansion for specific user applications, including power over Ethernet and power ignition sensing functions.
image004.jpgBased on the patented Cincoze Convertible Display System (CDS) technology, the P2100 Series can act as the engine of an industrial panel PC and provide various configurations with Cincoze CV-100/CS-100 display modules, with customizable screen size, resolution, touch type, and ultra-high brightness.
Users can take advantage of such modular designs and easily exchange the display module or computer module on site for maintenance or upgradability.
The P2100 Series features rigorous industrial protection, wide operating temperatures (-40°C to +70°C), and a high tolerance for vibration/shock (5/50 Grms), making it suitable for use in extreme environments and industrial applications.
Brandon Chien, CEO of Cincoze, says: “The plug and play design of Cincoze’s CDS technology makes it the most efficient and cost-effective panel PC solution as it brings advantages including flexible configuration, rapid integration, reduced system downtime and maintenance costs, and support for future upgradability.
“It is a truly great panel PC option for factory automation and machinery monitoring.”
