Whether it will be in the form of Siri or you are making a query through Google-like search engines. This isn’t the kind of AI we saw in Tony Stark’s inventions, this is much more than that. This AI gives the product like Watson which helps humanity by finding a cure for diseases like cancer.

The digital spaceship is fueled by technologies like artificial intelligence and big data leading us towards the automation where most of the business operations are optimized incorporating it with machines. Ryder System applies ‘innovative mix of startup technologies’ in supply chain sector

Logistics company Ryder System says it is “redefining the smart warehouse” with its “innovative mix of startup technologies”. (See video below.)

The company says it has formed partnerships with innovators in robotics, drones, sensors, and wearables to make the smart warehouse customizable, flexible, and scalable.

Primetals Technologies to supply automation technology to Ulsan Aluminum

Primetals Technologies has received an order from Ulsan Aluminum Ltd., a Korean aluminum producer, to supply new automation technology to the company’s hot rolling mill and cold rolling mill no. 2 in Ulsan in the southeast of Korea.

Both the hot rolling mill and cold rolling mill no. 2 will be equipped with new technological control systems based on a new automation platform. The new automation technology will improve the reliability and availability of the rolling mills.

Ulsan Aluminum Ltd. was founded by Novelis and Kobe Steel as a joint venture company in 2017. The Ulsan plant produces rolled aluminum plates for the Asian markets of the beverage and electronics industries, the transportation sector and the construction business.

Stop & Shop to launch self-driving mobile grocery stores

US retailer Stop & Shop says it will launch “driverless grocery vehicles” in the Greater Boston area beginning in Spring 2019.

The vehicles will bring a selection of Stop & Shop produce as well as meal kits and convenience items directly to consumers, so they can shop right at their doorsteps.
