Infineon completes $830 million acquisition of GaN Systems

Infineon Technologies has completed the acquisition of GaN Systems Inc, a Canada-based developer of gallium nitride power transistors.

The Ottawa-based GaN Systems brings to Infineon a “broad portfolio” of gallium nitride (GaN)-based power conversion solutions and leading-edge application know-how.

Astrodyne TDI opens ‘cutting-edge manufacturing facility’ in Malaysia

Astrodyne TDI, a manufacturer of power electronics, power distribution units, and EMI filters, has opened its new “state-of-the-art manufacturing facility” in Penang, Malaysia.
