You may decide that you want to set up an IT consulting business for example, as these are extremely popular and always in demand. The same goes for if you decide to start a business, or even choose to work freelance in the beginning. If you learn to be the best, then people are going to come to you, rather than you having to approach businesses in the first place.

This shouldn’t be a problem if technology is your passion, as you are always going to want to develop and learn new things in this area anyway! It’s becoming quite the competitive industry though, so you need to watch out.
