How to find someone’s email on LinkedIn simple and easy

September 18, 2021 by Liv Leave a Comment

Whether you are a young business major or a veteran in the field, you most likely have an online presence. Although technology has certainly advanced over the years with the streamlining of Virtual Reality and alternative modes of communication, most people still rely on emails.

The reason is that almost all online platforms (from Facebook to LinkedIn) require you to make a registration with a validated email. You will need these emails to reach a larger audience for your marketing campaigns or recruiting goals.

Even if you aren’t part of a large corporation, having a large email contact list means having a large circle to network.

LinkedIn is the premier website for young business connections. Virtually anybody who is anybody has a LinkedIn account. It works similarly to other social networks with a few key differences; it’s designed to help goal-oriented people make worthwhile business connections.

You can share your previous job experiences, post resumes, and connect with employers in a controlled and monitored environment. Every LinkedIn profile has an email, and you will need those emails to grow your personal network. There are several ways to extract those emails from LinkedIn that we will discuss further.

What are email finders?
Email finders are amazing online tools that let you find anybody’s email address anywhere on the Internet. Email finders come in two forms: Chrome extensions and online software that requires registration.

They work on a fairly simple principle. Every email finder has built-in data storage. Some are bigger than others which makes them better and more valuable. You input the required information (usually a name or a phone number), and the software sends a ping to their database.

From there, a data request is generated and sent to relevant websites. Once the request, or a ping, has arrived, it retrieves any information you need. That’s it! With a little bit of luck and provided that you input all of the data correctly, you will receive a valid email address.

There are many email finders out there. Some work better than others. Since we are discussing LinkedIn email extraction, we will focus on email finders that work best with that website.

Check individual LinkedIn profiles for emails
The easiest way to find someone’s email address on LinkedIn, a way that many people overlook is to simply browse through a person’s profile. Most people fill out their profiles fully to rank higher in search results. Having a valid email address on your profile is one of the requirements.

To freely browse someone’s profile on LinkedIn, you need to send them a connection request. It might seem daunting, but don’t worry. Every person on LinkedIn signs up with the goal of expanding their network connections. Once they’ve accepted your request, your status will change to ‘first-degree connection’. You can now browse their profile.

A person’s email address is usually located in the Contact info tab. It is located right under their name, to the right of their connection number. If they have chosen to enable email sharing, you will be able to find their business email there.

However, keep in mind that not everyone chooses to share their email address. Sometimes you might have to send them a PM (private message) and request it personally.

This method doesn’t require any additional software installation. However, it is a bit tedious to have to go through hundreds of thousands of profiles to extract a single email.

If your goals are smaller, then this method will work for you. On the other hand, if you need to find a larger number of LinkedIn emails read on for more advice.

Use SignalHire to locate LinkedIn emails
SignalHire is a chrome extension without any additional software. The service offers the extraction of real-time verified contact info from most major social networks.

SignalHire is a favorite of many recruiters, marketing agents, and larger companies since it has a per email plan and bulk email finder optimization.

Working with SignalHire is relatively easy.

  1. Visit the SignalHire official website;
  2. Download and install the extension in your chrome browser;
  3. Once the extension has been downloaded and installed, open your LinkedIn profile;
  4. Navigate to the user profile that you want to extract the email from;
  5. There should be an SH icon on the top right side of your browser. Click on the icon to open a drop-down menu. In the menu, click on the Reveal Contacts button to reveal any available information.

That’s it! Working with SignalHire is simple and easy. It still requires you to manually navigate to someone’s profile and click on the extension, but besides that, there is no further input required.

SignalHire offers several pricing plans. Free membership includes 5 email credits per month and several paid memberships that provide you with more email search credits.

  • Lead Generation
    This feature costs $49 per month and provides you with 350 email credits. There is a monthly or an annual billing option. The per-year billing option currently comes with a 35% discount making the price as low as $39 a month.

This plan allows only email searches. You can search accounts one by one or initialize bulk emails.

  • Recruiter Pro
    This feature costs $49 per month and provides you with 100 contact credits per month. Unlike the previous membership, the plan allows you to search for both emails and phone numbers. There are both per month and per year options. Subscribing for a full year nets you a 35% discount and lowers the price to $39.

Use Skrapp.io to locate LinkedIn Emails
Skrapp.io is another Chrome extension that is available on the Google store. The app allows you to search for emails on popular social network websites such as LinkedIn and Twitter.

Skrapp.io is perfect for smaller companies that are just now starting to expand their mailing lists. To set up Skrapp, follow the steps below.

  1. Download the Skrapp Chrome extension from their official site;
  2. Locate a LinkedIn user profile;
  3. The Skrapp extension icon should have appeared in the top right corner. Once you click on it, a separate window will appear with any relevant personal information.
  4. You can save your lists for reference or later use.
  5. You are done!

Skrapp.io is very similar to other email extraction tools with some key differences. Skrapp offers extensive video tutorials on the set-up and use of their product on their webpage under the tab Resources. Under that tab, you can also find additional documentation on their API process and a link to their Help Center.

Skrapp.io offers several pricing models depending on your needs and goals.

  • Starter
    This membership plan costs $49 per month and comes with 1,000 email extractions. Up to two users can use this plan at the same time. This plan is perfect for smaller studios or family businesses.
  • Seeker
    This membership plan costs $99 per month and comes with 5,000 email extractions per month. Up to five different users can be authorized to use this membership at the same time. This plan is perfect for smaller companies with 5-7 employees.
  • Enterprise
    This membership plan costs $199 per month and comes with 20,000 email extractions per month. You can authorize up to 8 users. This plan is perfect for growing companies with a dedicated recruiting program or a marketing department.
  • Global
    This membership plan costs $299 per month and comes with 50,000 emails extractions per month. Up to 15 different users can be authorized at the same time. This plan is perfect for larger companies.

Conclusion
As you can see, finding someone’s email address on LinkedIn is not only easy but possible and affordable. However, make sure you follow all the guidelines and only use services that are validated and offer user data protection. Never trust an unverified platform with your personal data.
