The 5 Best AI Companies to Consider in 2019

March 4, 2019 by David Edwards

Artificial intelligence is without a doubt the future of the tech industry.

It is a transformative technology whose positive impact has been felt across all sectors ranging from health care, advertisement, retail video gaming, and urban development.

Almost every aspect of our contemporary life has been touched either directly or indirectly by AI and the stock market is no exception.

The purpose of this article is to help choose the best AI Company for your business.

Here is a list of 5 companies to consider in 2019.

NVIDIA Corporation

If you are an ardent researcher in the area of Artificial Intelligence investment you have probably come across NVIDIA and its major contribution in the AI industry.

At the helm of its success is the graphics processing units (GPUs) a technology that has enabled improvement in the gaming market, automated cars, processing of artificial Intelligence data, among other areas.

NVIDIA GPUs alongside its other platforms supports some of the most innovative AI data centers the likes of Facebook, Amazon.com Microsoft, and more than 1,200 other companies. All these companies rely on NVIDIA’s inference platforms and hardware.

It is interesting to note that Google is currently using one of NVIDIA’s latest AI inference chips, the Tesla P4. This is despite that the company has developed its own AI chips which show how important NVDIA’s technology is to the Artificial
Intelligence market.

Alphabet

This is Google’s parent company and has utilized AI in various ways including the enhancement of its search results, sorting out online ads in order of relevancy, and highly applicable in the Google Translate app.

In essence, Artificial Intelligence is a major driving force in every task accomplished by this company.

At the core of its AI is Google’s self-driving project which is currently known as Waymo. This is a ride-hailing company which recently launched its first ride-hailing service that allows a select group of people in Arizona to have these driverless vehicles drive them around town.

Needless to say, the company’s Artificial Intelligence is the main stakeholder in Waymo’s success. It helps to process all the visual information on the road such as road signs, pedestrians, and the presence of other cars and so on. It then informs the car in real time on how to respond.

IBM

Artificial Intelligence is not a new concept in this company as it has been developing it for a couple of years For instance, in 1985, IBM developed its AI computer which they christened Deep Blue, a couple of years later in 2011 the company developed Watson which participated in the quiz show called Jeopardy! and the computer actually won!

Despite the difficulties that IBM has faced over the years, its decision to invest heavily in Artificial Intelligence has made the company to be at the cutting-edge amongst its competitors.

Its strategic Imperatives which include analytics, cloud computing, and Big Data generated $39 billion or about 48% of the total income which was a big boost to the overall growth of the company.

Mongo DB

In order for an Intelligence Artificial tool to be effective, it needs a whole lot of data. As a matter of fact, the more data you feed your system the more intelligent it gets and that’s where Mongo Db comes in.

Its task is to develop database software called NoSQL, a platform which has the ability to sort different types of data with minimum human assistance needed to make it operational.

The purpose of MongoDB is to make sense of disorganized which is normally the case when you are dealing with input from millions of online users. It is noteworthy that that investors are embracing this technology and are allowing this company to manage their company effectively.

Baidu

This is a highly ranked search business in China which has a significant investment in Artificial Intelligence. This aspect has had a positive impression on its customers who are enjoying a personalized search experienced as well as receiving quality online ads.

Moreover, the company’s AI has created other platforms, for example, Apollo, which deals with autonomous vehicles. Recently BIDU collaborated with King Long Motors to inaugurate the first-ever fully autonomous L4 minibus.

The use of AI has enabled his company to reap massive benefits with its revenues ranging at $4.1 billion which means that BIDU is scaling the height at a very encouraging pace.

Conclusion

Artificial intelligence has permeated every area of our lives and the truth is it is here to stay. If you are an investor interested in AI the first and most important question to ask yourself is what is online trading and the technicalities involved in this type of trading.

Familiarize yourself with all the software involved and finally decide on the most suitable company for your type of business it is better to be sure than sorry.
