GMV showcases its robotic inspection capabilities

GMV, a Spanish multinational company developing innovative technological solutions, showcased its experience and capabilities in the field of robotic inspection during a demonstration carried out at Messer Ibérica’s facilities.

In the demonstration, held during the meeting of the Chemical Business Association of Tarragona (AEQT)’s Innovation and Technology Committee, GMV presented uPathWay, a grounbreaking solution designed for industrial inspection tasks.

Alimerka brings in Cimcorp for its automation requirements

Cimcorp, a provider of robotic handling solutions, has partnered with Spanish supermarket chain Alimerka to automate fresh food distribution processes.

By integrating solutions from Cimcorp in its warehousing operations, Alimerka has reduced packaging material usage and enhanced distribution efficiency, making its supply chain more agile and sustainable.

Telescent introduces new G5 robotic patch panel system

Telescent, a manufacturer of automated fiber cross connects for network and data center operators, has launched its new G5 Robotic Patch Panel system.

The new and enhanced G5 automated cross connect management system will be showcased at the Optical Fiber Communications (OFC) Conference 2024, the largest global conference and exhibition for optical communications and networking professionals taking place from March 24-28, 2024 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California.

Telescent’s current G4 system is already the largest automated cross connect platform on the market, the upgraded G5 system doubles the capacity by replacing simplex LC ports with duplex SN ports, maintaining the same number of ports in the system.

Legendary video game DOOM is now available to play worldwide on Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers.

Medical Microinstruments raises $110 million in Series C financing

Medical Microinstruments (MMI), a robotics company dedicated to increasing treatment options and improving clinical outcomes for patients with complex conditions, has raised $110 million in Series C financing.

The round, led by Fidelity Management & Research Company, marks the largest ever investment in microsurgery innovation.
