What Europeans take for granted – high quality of life, wages and strong protections – is not guaranteed. With most of high-volume production moving to Asia, European competitiveness is being quietly eroded.
Once Europe loses the capability to produce products at a quality-to-price ratio better than competitors in other regions, production inevitably moves elsewhere.
